Maricela Castaneda started her O’Reilly career as a part-time team member when her children were younger. When her youngest child started college, she decided to apply to the supervisor-in-training (SIT) program. Since her recent promotion to stocking supervisor, Maricela says she is learning every day, and she’s always available to lend a helping hand to upcoming supervisors or #TeamOReilly members who need guidance.

When District Manager Rosey Sakrison started as a part-time delivery specialist almost 10 years ago, she never intended to build a career in auto parts. She chose the job because “it was close, it was convenient, and the people seemed nice,” she says. The vibe in the store (which she now knows as the O’Reilly Culture) changed her mind. Within three months, she was ready to commit to full time and began trying to learn any information and perfect any task to make her job and store run more smoothly. Since then, she’s made a habit of taking on new challenges, even if she’s nervous. Installer Service Specialist Monte Walsh, a former racer and huge racing fan, says recent population growth in Emmett has brought in a whole new car culture, as well as the new 1/3 mile paved track, which opened in 2024. For many of our drivers, the best part of their job is interacting with people. Since his store has additional inventory, Ron Stuart delivers to other O’Reilly stores in his area, as well as professional customers. In less than two years, our store in Niagara Falls has been recognized by the community and the mayor for helping to bring the downtown area back to life.
