Knowledge and intelligence have always lived in small circles. A few specialists produce the research, run the analysis, and hold the context. Everyone else works without it, or waits in line. AI changes who can reach it. When a model can draw on the research your organization already owns, and can be trusted to do it, prior work gets reused instead of redone and leadership decides from sources it trusts instead of the open web. On September 16, Rob Trail and John Brennan get into what that shift actually takes, and the governed foundation that makes opening it up safe. Most enterprise AI pilots don't fail on the model. They stall in legal review. In pharma, financial services, manufacturing and telecom, the hard part isn't finding information. It's proving where an answer came from, confirming you were licensed to use that source, and controlling who could see it. Four questions worth writing into any evaluation: - Is licensed content pre-integrated, or billed separately? - Does every answer cite the specific passage behind it? - Do document permissions survive retrieval? - Does insight reach the decision, or wait to be found? Pharma CI USA is three weeks out, and Northern Light will be there both days. Our Chief Product Officer, Sheri Larsen, is presenting "From Data Overload to Decision Confidence: AI-Driven Competitive Intelligence in Pharma" on Wednesday, September 16 at 4:00 PM. If you work in pharma CI, you already know the problem she's speaking to. The intelligence exists somewhere in your stack. Getting to it takes longer than the decision can wait. Full agenda: https://lnkd.in/ei2DS6s9 Heading to Newark? Drop a comment and we'll find you there. #PharmaCI #CompetitiveIntelligence #LifeSciences #MarketIntelligence

Most people don't abandon an AI research tool because it's hard to use. They abandon it because they got one answer they couldn't verify. Asking a market intelligence platform a question in plain language is the easy part. Name the companies. Bound the timeframe. Say what the answer is for. Do that and you'll get something useful out of almost any capable platform. What determines whether you can act on it is everything underneath the chat box: whether the content is licensed and governed, and whether every claim links back to the document it came from. Our new guide covers both halves, plus what a decision-grade answer should always give you back. Read it → https://lnkd.in/eiyNH73V #CompetitiveIntelligence #MarketIntelligence #EnterpriseAI

Everyone has access to the same AI models now. So why do so many competitive answers still fall apart the moment someone asks, "where did this come from?" ChatGPT is a genuinely useful assistant for drafting and summarizing. But it can't read your licensed reports or internal research, it has a training cutoff, and it will sometimes invent a citation outright. A dedicated competitive intelligence platform grounds every answer in licensed and internal sources, traces each claim back to where it came from, and stays current and governed. The difference isn't a smarter model. It's what the AI is allowed to read. Read it → https://lnkd.in/eengNGi6 #CompetitiveIntelligence #MarketIntelligence #EnterpriseAI #AIStrategy

In pharma and biotech, the AI model isn't what sets a market intelligence platform apart. The content it can legally reach is. A competitive question in life sciences rarely resolves on the open web. The answer lives in peer-reviewed journals, patent filings, clinical trial registries, regulatory submissions, and licensed databases, and it's about a moving pipeline, not a static market. A platform that can't reach and govern that content can't answer the question, no matter how capable the AI. Our new 2026 buyer's guide breaks down what pharma and biotech teams should actually evaluate: licensed content depth, citation quality, governance, and continuous pipeline monitoring. We built an MCP server for SinglePoint. Here's why it matters. Your researchers are already asking Copilot and Claude strategic questions. Without a connection to trusted sources, those assistants answer from the open web, not your market and competitive intelligence. The SinglePoint MCP server closes that gap. It plugs your trusted intelligence directly into the AI assistants your team already uses, so the answers come from sources you control instead of whatever's public. On Aug 11 (2 PM ET, 30 minutes) we'll show it working, live: → Copilot running a recurring monthly analysis on a schedule, powered by the SinglePoint MCP server → Claude turning a messy research conversation into a finished, branded asset, no manual assembly MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the emerging standard for connecting AI agents to trusted content. This is what it looks like when it's pointed at SinglePoint. See it in action 👇 https://lnkd.in/gahsMiCJ #CompetitiveIntelligence #MarketIntelligence #MCP #EnterpriseAI #Copilot #Claude

"Conversational intelligence" usually makes people think of the sales-call kind: tools that record and analyze rep calls. In market and competitive research, it means something different. It's asking your research a question in plain language and getting a sourced, trustworthy answer back. No query syntax, no digging through PDFs. Just "what are our top competitors saying about pricing?" and an answer you can trace. Our new explainer covers what conversational intelligence actually is, how it differs from the sales-call version, how it works, and how to evaluate it. Every market intelligence tool now has AI. Most still can't answer the one question that matters: "where did this come from?" The model was never the hard part. The edge is searching your internal and licensed sources together, and getting back answers with citations you can defend. Our 2026 buyer's guide gives you 8 criteria to tell a real platform from a good demo. Read it → https://lnkd.in/guKKn9Qk #CompetitiveIntelligence #MarketIntelligence #EnterpriseAI
