A pattern we’ve seen over and over: people say they want feedback— but they don’t realize what it takes to keep getting it. The fastest way to lose a great coach (or mentor) is simple: you hear the feedback… and nothing changes. Because from their side, it starts to feel like: “Why am I spending time here?” The people who keep getting invested in are the ones who do something different. They take the feedback and show—quickly—that they’re working on it. Not perfectly. Not all at once. But visibly. That’s what builds the relationship. Not saying you value feedback— but proving it. #coaching #feedback #growth #trust

Most teams say they value feedback. Very little real feedback actually happens. One of the subtle traps in how we talk about psychological safety: it gets framed as something the organization creates. Which sounds right—but misses where most people actually get stuck. You can say you want feedback. You can build systems for it. And still… very little real feedback shows up. Because the hardest feedback isn’t about process— it’s about risk. Someone has to decide it’s worth sticking their neck out to tell you something you don’t see. And most of the time, what you don’t see is exactly what’s holding you back. Because it lives in your blind spots. Which means when it finally shows up, it rarely feels useful in the moment. It feels uncomfortable. Sometimes sharp. Your reaction in that moment determines whether you’ll ever hear it again. #leadership #feedback #selfawareness #personaldevelopment

Psychological safety is often misunderstood. Most people ask, "Is this organization creating safety for me?" But here’s the part we don’t talk about: It’s YOUR job to make that happen, IF you want to grow. Because giving you real feedback requires RISK. Someone has to stick their neck out to correct you So, the question should be, "Am I making it safe for OTHERS to tell me the truth?" The most valuable feedback is almost always in your blind spots. Which means when you hear it… it doesn’t FEEL helpful. It feels like a sucker punch. And somehow, in that moment—while your instinct is to defend, explain, or shut down— you have to say: “Thank you. That was helpful.” #Feedback #Growth #PersonalDevelopment #Performance #PsychologicalSafety

Most of us think self-awareness is about knowing our strengths and weaknesses—but the real gamechanger is something simpler and much harder: metacognition — being aware of your own cognitive processes or “thinking about your thinking”. Your brain is constantly running old “code” from the past — hidden rules you didn’t even know you had. They trigger reactions before you can think. The skill isn’t stopping those reactions. It’s noticing them without judgment and getting curious This is WAY easier said than done—but this is where better decisions, better leadership, and better relationships actually start. And it’s not a one-time thing. It’s a lifelong PRACTICE — because you’re always changing. 👉 Curious how to start training this skill? Visit www.nextjump.com to see how we’re helping leaders build exactly this kind of mental habit, one week at a time. #SelfAwareness #LeadershipDevelopment #DecisionMaking

Nobody wants to admit they're stuck. So we don't. We say we're "in a transition" or "figuring things out" or "taking it slow." But here's the truth: stuck IS losing. Just slower. When you're losing, there's urgency. There's feedback. There's a reason to adapt. When you're stuck, the calendar keeps moving and nothing changes. You spend your time, your energy, your potential — and walk away with nothing to show for it. That's the quiet definition of burnout. Not too much action. Too much stagnation dressed up as patience. #burnout #stuck #personalleadership

Everyone is talking about the AI Revolution. Almost no one is talking about the Human Revolution. Yes — AI will automate predictable white-collar work. Yes — leaner teams are coming. But the real divide won’t be AI vs. humans. It will be: High-agency humans using AI vs. Low-agency humans managed by AI. The future won’t reward the people who master prompts. It will reward the people who master themselves. High agency is the real moat. Full breakdown is in the latest videos if you want to go deeper https://lnkd.in/eyv2YczJ #FutureOfWork #LeadershipDevelopment #ArtificialIntelligence #HumanPerformance #HighAgency
