Every year, one week in early fall becomes one of the busiest for Labor and Delivery units across the country. According to two decades of U.S. birth data, September 9th is the most common birthday in the country, putting Labor Day week squarely in the middle of the year's biggest baby boom. This year, that boom is hitting especially close to home for one hospital system. At Premier Health Partners Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, 21 Labor and Delivery nurses are expecting at the same time! The very team that helps deliver thousands of babies a year is about to experience that same milestone together. When we saw their story on NBC News The TODAY Show, and People Inc., we knew we wanted to show up for them the same way they show up for their patients. We donated 21 Smart Baby Monitor Systems, along with Sound + Light Machines, Breathing Wear, and new Cammies camera covers to support these hardworking pregnant nurses through their pregnancies, maternity leaves, and eventual return to work. Caregiving is at the center of everything we build at Nanit—and that includes caring for the caregivers. To the Miami Valley L&D team: congratulations, and thank you and the team for everything you do for the families in your care. #Nanit #WorkplaceWellbeing #HealthcareHeroes #LaborAndDelivery #PremierHealth #EmployeeBenefits #FamilyFirst

Supporting parents means showing up for the whole journey, including the moments that can be difficult to put into words. We're honored to be a part of the #CouragetoConfide coalition, reminding mothers everywhere that it’s okay not to be okay. Every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe asking for help. Together, we can create a culture where no mother has to navigate their mental health journey alone. Thank you to The Breadwinners and Alexis Contos for leading the charge on this incredible movement. Competence is such an excellent camouflage. It hides everything. The woman who runs the company, the calendar, and the fever protocol in the same hour looks like she has it handled, because she always does. She's the emergency contact. The steady one. The person everyone else calls when things fall apart, precisely because she doesn't. And so nobody asks the strong one if she's okay. The mothers least likely to ask for help are the ones everyone depends on most. Help-seeking drops as responsibility rises. The stronger she looks, the more invisible her struggle becomes. So today we're launching Courage to Confide. It's a maternal mental health campaign built on one reframe that I think this audience will understand better than most: asking for help is not weakness. It's leadership. You already do the hard version of this every day. You name the risk in the room while there's still time to act on it. You say the difficult thing first so no one else has to. That's exactly the skill it takes to say "I'm not okay" out loud. We've just never been taught to point it inward. I'm humbled by what's behind this. More than 40 brands, organizations, and advocates have united to carry this message in a single week, all committed to one rule: resources ahead of everything else. The film is voiced by Iskra Lawrence, who is brave enough to open with her own story. Ask the strongest woman you know how she's really doing, then ask again. And if you're the one who's been holding everyone else up, let this be your permission to set it down. It's ok to not be ok. The courage to confide is the confidence to lead. #CourageToConfide #ItsOkToNotBeOk #MaternalMentalHealth #Leadership #WorkingMoms Credit to Ivona Namjesnik for the opening line.

Nanit Home is officially available in Canada, and we couldn't let the moment pass without a celebration.🇨🇦 We welcomed media, creators, and Nanit parents to a transformed hotel suite (yes, there was a bathtub ball pit) for a first look at Nanit Home. Natalie Barnett, PhD, Head of Nanit Lab & VP of Clinical Research, was on site all evening talking about sleep and development with parents. Hearing how excited Nanit families are to have Nanit Home in Canada made the whole night. Where should Nanit Home head next? 👀

Nanit Cammies are HERE. Now get your camera into character. A few weeks ago, we shared how Cammies began: one software engineer inspired by the power of smiling and a team that said "let's build it." Less than two years later, after many rounds of testing and very official baby focus groups, our lovable new camera covers are now available. Research shows that babies are drawn to faces from their very first days, and those early smiles can play a meaningful role in social and emotional development. So we asked: why not transform the camera that keeps watch over your nursery into a friendly new face worth smiling up at? We're proud to announce four new friends to hit the market: 🐰 - Blinky Bunny 🐶 - Dozy Dog 🐘 - Early Elephant 🐻 - Breezy Bear Find your favorite—or bring them all home! Cammies go on in seconds and are easy to swap out, all while keeping every safety feature parents rely on fully intact. Follow the link in the comments to get yours.
