Honored to host a Congressional Open House at Moog’s Johnson City, TN facility on August 18. Moog welcomed Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger, staff from Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, Tennessee State Representative Tim Hicks, and Johnson City Chamber President Bob Cantrell for a brief tour showcasing critical defense systems hardware manufactured in their districts, capabilities, and unprecedented growth. This visit is part of Moog’s ongoing effort to build strong relationships with Federal, State, and local officials to help secure support for co-investment funding that will expand production capacity to supply critical defense products. At the reception, Congresswoman Harshbarger called the facility a “best kept secret” and a National Asset, thanked our employees, and expressed commitment to support Moog’s efforts toward securing funding through Congressional channels. Thank you to everyone who joined and to our Johnson City team for the impact you make every day. #CongressionalOpenHouse #JohnsonCity #NationalAsset #Innovation #TeamMoog

Today we celebrate the 111th birthday of our founder, Bill Moog — a visionary whose belief in trust, collaboration, and the power of talented people continues to guide us 75 years later. His philosophy shaped the foundation of Moog in 1951, and it remains at the heart of who we are today. As we honor his legacy during our 75th anniversary year, we continue moving the world forward with the same spirit of innovation, integrity, and confidence that Bill championed from the very beginning.
