Reflections from the Panel on AI and Genomics at Bio Connect 3.0 It was a privilege to moderate a fascinating discussion on AI and Genomics with an incredible panel of global experts — Prof. Ronald Clarence Geye, Dr. Manoj Gopalakrishnan, Prof. Shane Meirsch, and Dr. A. Sreekumar. Our conversation explored how Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the entire spectrum of healthcare — from decoding the genome to designing drugs, engineering proteins, and advancing truly personalised medicine. The panelists expressed immense excitement about how AI will accelerate drug discovery, unlock new possibilities in protein engineering, and make genomic insights clinically actionable in ways we’ve never seen before.
