  • Not all heroes wear capes…some spend their Volunteer Time Off with cats 🐾 We love seeing how our team gives back, and recently, one of our guys on the CWMD side (Robert Atkins) used his Volunteer Time Off to support "Only Maine Coons Rescue" at a local pet expo, helping raise awareness (and probably making a few furry friends along the way).     WE'RE CERTIFIED!!! Big win for Team Mayvin 😎 We’re proud to share that Mayvin is now officially CMMC Level 2 C3PAO Certified, an exciting milestone and a huge step forward for our team. For those familiar, you know this isn’t exactly a “quick win.” Achieving CMMC Level 2 means meeting the Department of War's strict requirements for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and aligning with NIST SP 800-171 standards. In other words… a lot of work, a lot of documentation, and a lot of coffee. A massive shoutout to our IT and quality team for making this happen (aka Andrew McMann and Brittany Nixon holding down the fort) you kept us secure, sane(ish), and moving forward, even when the process felt like a never-ending puzzle of controls, documentation, and audits. We see you, and we appreciate you. This certification strengthens our ability to protect sensitive data and continue delivering for our clients with confidence.     Never a boring day at Mayvin HQ. On Tuesday, a pipe burst on the 4th floor and turned our 3rd floor office into what can only be described as an unexpected slip n' slide feature, with water flowing into the kitchen, IT room, and conference room. While it wasn’t exactly the kind of “team building” exercise we like, it was a real-time reminder of how important it is to stay calm, positive, and solutions-focused in chaotic situations. Also, what better way to make the most out of your opportunities and create a LinkedIn post with a lesson?? 🤣 Instead of panic, we saw teamwork. Instead of frustration, we saw flexibility (no complaints about getting to work from home!) Laptops were relocated, calls were moved, and priorities were adjusted, all with a sense of humor and professionalism. Obstacles will always pop up in the workplace (sometimes literally from the ceiling), but how you respond makes all the difference.
