Jimmy Chin invested in Momentous almost nine years ago, before we had a contract, a campaign, or much of a public profile. He read the science and put his own money behind it. He has used the products every year since. Today he joins us as a Momentous partner. Most people know Jimmy for skiing from the summit of Mount Everest, for the first ascent of Meru's Shark's Fin, and for the Academy Award he won for Free Solo. What is less visible is the work underneath all of it. He is on the road 150 to 250 days a year as a filmmaker, photographer, athlete, and father, which in practice means the 5 am hotel gym session, the 60-pound pack three days a week, and the red-eye that gets him home for the weekend. That is a harder standard to hold than any single expedition, because it does not end. Performance at altitude and performance at home run on the same foundation, and the foundation has to work in both places. It is the reason we build what we build. Performance for Life® is not a campaign line for us, and it is not one for Jimmy either. We spent a few days with him in Jackson Hole this summer. This is some of what we saw. #PerformanceForLife
