Camp Lakeside is built on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of summer camp in an environment that celebrates inclusion, friendship, and belonging. Through this partnership, we are helping provide meaningful experiences for campers while supporting a program that brings children with and without disabilities together in a welcoming and empowering setting. On Monday, Lids HQ welcomed University of Chicago students to the office! Throughout the morning, students were introduced to Lids and the many career opportunities our organization offers. Representatives from multiple departments shared their unique career paths, discussing their school experiences, the importance of networking, internship opportunities, their journey to Lids, and how they contribute to our business every day. Career Corner! Ever wonder what happens to our product when a player gets traded? While other retailers might take weeks to get updated product, Lids shoppers can customize a jersey and add a player name and number within hours. Aaron S., Senior Director of Retail and Ecommerce Embellishment, takes us behind the scenes of how Lids leverages our in-house customization abilities to stay ahead of the game when it comes to both personalization, and player trades.

Wrapping up on another unforgettable summer for Lids intramural leagues! This summer teammates played in the CCA Sports Indy Summer Softball League. Throughout the eight-week season, Lids proudly had two teams competing, bringing together 33 teammates and two interns. Lids Team 1 (blue team) ended in 9th and Lids Team 2 (red team) ended in 4th. Last night was the much-anticipated final game of the season, Lids vs Lids, with special guests Michael Line and Sarah Lim as our umpires! With a close game, the final score was 7-5. Congratulations to Lids Team 2 for winning! 🥎 Thanks to our intramural committee team Ali Manwaring, Matt Rudella, & Vaugn Mihok for helping to organize and coordinate this summer's league. It is hard to believe that our 2026 internship program has come to an end! Today the interns, their managers, mentors, and friends from Lids came together to celebrate the summer's accomplishments. With group project case winners and core value winners, there was much to be praised with this year's class! Our interns completed impact projects, a group project, day-to-day responsibilities, attended professional development sessions, leadership meet & greets, and even had time to participate in 2 service projects with The Lids Foundation. Today the Lids Interns and their mentors visited the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for some fun at the Brickyard! Watching the upcoming Brickyard 400 practice laps was a treat for all, and it's hard to believe there is just one week left in the 2026 intern program! 🏎️ 🧢 #havefunsellhats

Yesterday our interns participated in their Volunteer Project with the The Lids Foundation and Second Helpings Indy! Interns spent their time prepping sandwiches, chopping numerous trays of vegetables, and cleaning the facility to ensure other volunteers were set up for success. With over 2,145 meals impacted, this morning was well spent giving back to our community!
