In 1975, 47,000 letters sparked a movement. 90% of women walked out of jobs, homes and caregiving duties – to change the course of a country, forever. 50 years later, Iceland ranks #1 for gender equality in the world. Today? We celebrate that progress with ‘Dare We’. Created with our long-standing partners Reykjavík Global Forum, the campaign reimagines the language of the original movement – flipping ‘Dear She’ into ‘Dare We’ – turning a letter into a rallying cry. Through a design system and a custom generator, anyone can create and share their own message – inviting anyone, anywhere to raise their voice. Brought to the world of socials with Burson. Prime time for math ➕ New work from Deeplocal, who teamed up with National Museum of Mathematics on five new exhibits for its new Chelsea home. Including Prime Properties, an interactive experience that makes math more tactile, playful and accessible. Check out the story here:
“Many adult visitors come in with bad memories of math from childhood, saying they hate math or were never good at it. But Ms. Lawrence notes that no one ever says only artists can enjoy art museums. “We go to see something beautiful,” she said. “And that’s the message we try to have here.” We’re proud to have been involved in the brand new National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) and helping to build experiences that make mathematics more inspiring and accessible to everyone. Our team had the honor of collaborating with MoMath to design and fabricate five new exhibits for their new location in Chelsea, including Prime Properties, which was featured in the NY Times article. This interactive exhibit features a 10×10 grid displaying the numbers 1 - 100, with vertical towers corresponding to each number. Guests can explore which are prime integers using a control panel with knobs and buttons that cause the platforms to move up and down, allowing them to discover patterns. Congratulations to the National Museum of Mathematics on the grand opening and well-deserved press! https://lnkd.in/eRtGZ5Rf
