Last month, we brought the LA28 Career Pathways program to California State University, Long Beach for its third installment—continuing our commitment to empowering the next generation of industry leaders. More than 150 students attended, hearing from panelists David McCallum, Meredith McCarthy, Christopher Hicks and Gary Meador, who shared candid perspectives on navigating careers in the sports and entertainment industry and offered valuable insights from their unique roles across the Olympic and Paralympic Movements. The evening continued with breakout sessions hosted by Deloitte and LA28 Athlete Fellows, giving students the opportunity to connect directly with professionals, ask questions and begin building meaningful relationships within the industry. The #LA28 Career Pathways program is a workforce development initiative designed for local students interested in careers in sports and live events. #Olympics #Paralympics #Careers
