Consent decrees don't create problems. They reveal ones that already existed. The real question is: what do you do with that clarity? Our latest blog explores how organizations are turning enforcement into lasting improvement. https://hubs.li/Q049Cm_f0

When inspection data and asset records live in separate systems, the gap between field work and informed decision-making grows wider every day. The City of Lakewood, CO closed that gap by integrating ITpipes with OpenGov Inc. Enterprise Asset Management, and the results speak for themselves: real-time visibility, no more manual reconciliation, and clear connected data from inspection to decision. Join us on April 7 to hear directly from Lakewood leadership on how they made it happen. Webinar: Turning CCTV Inspections Into Smarter Asset Decisions with a Connected System of Record Tuesday, April 7, 2026 | 1:00 PM CST Can not make it live? Register anyway and we will send you the full recording. https://hubs.li/Q0489_dt0

The timing is never perfect. But waiting to modernize your inspection program is not free. Coding backlogs, manual handoffs, and outdated condition data quietly compound the longer they go unaddressed. We break down what that actually costs and what organizations that moved forward are seeing on the other side. Read the full post: https://hubs.li/Q047FBTT0

The infrastructure funding gap is not going away on its own. The organizations closing it are not the ones with the biggest budgets. They are the ones making smarter decisions with the data they already have. If you are responsible for infrastructure investment decisions or long-term budget performance, this one is worth an hour of your time. Join ITpipes and The Ryen Group for our next Industry Insights webinar: Plan with Confidence. Fund Smarter. Spend Less: Lifecycle Modeling Powered by Condition Data Tuesday, March 17, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EST Can't attend live? Register anyway and we will send you the full recording. ITpipes reposted this
This week at the 50th (!!!) NASSCO, Inc. Annual Conference with my ITpipes colleagues in Puerto Rico was a reminder of just how much knowledge and real-world experience exists in the underground infrastructure community. Sitting in sessions with innovators, engineers, and utility leaders who have spent decades in the field is both humbling and energizing. The depth of expertise in this industry (and the willingness to share it) is what continues to push sewer inspection, condition assessment, and asset management forward. Technology will keep evolving, but the real progress happens when it’s shaped by the people doing the work every day. Grateful for the conversations, the insights, and the opportunity to learn from so many who are paving the way for safer infrastructure and smarter tools. Also… not the worst place to host a conference. 🌴

Inspection backlogs are rarely a staffing problem. They are a workflow problem. Manual coding, delayed handoffs, and disconnected systems quietly consume hours that crews cannot get back. In our latest blog, we break down the five places inspection programs most commonly lose time and what it takes to recover that capacity. Read the full blog: https://hubs.li/Q045WK350

The infrastructure funding gap isn’t always a money problem. Sometimes it’s a visibility problem. When inspection data isn’t connected to capital planning, even well-run organizations struggle to justify what they truly need. Decisions become reactive. Budgets get trimmed. Assets continue to deteriorate. We built this webinar around that exact challenge. Plan with Confidence. Fund Smarter. Spend Less: Lifecycle Modeling Powered by Condition Data Tuesday, March 17 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST ITpipes has partnered with The Ryen Group to bring you a session that bridges the gap between inspection data and capital planning. We'll break down why the funding gap persists even when teams are doing everything right and show how lifecycle modeling driven by solid inspection data gives you the defensible numbers to back your capital plan, tap into new funding sources, satisfy EPA asset management requirements, and make smarter long-term O&M decisions.
