What an incredible day at Scotiabank Arena for our first-ever Intuit for Education Financial Literacy Forum in Canada! There’s nothing quite like seeing hundreds of students get hands-on with tools like QuickBooks, Mailchimp and TurboTax for the first time. More than just solving problems, it was about that lightbulb moment where students saw these tools as the building blocks for their future independence. With 92% of Canadians feeling high school financial education is lacking, bringing this immersive curriculum to Canada is a major step in our mission to power prosperity and bridge the gap for 50 million students globally by 2030. At Intuit Canada, we believe financial literacy is about giving the next generation the confidence, money management, and entrepreneurship skills that will empower them before they even cross the graduation stage. Huge thanks to all the educators and students who joined us to practice the Building Blocks of Business. The future of Canadian entrepreneurship looks bright! Financial literacy is a foundational life skill, yet many of us grew up in households where money was not a dinner table conversation. This Financial Literacy Month, new Intuit research reveals a major shift: Parents are prioritizing financial education for their kids like never before, with 79% saying they’re more transparent with their kids about money than their own parents were with them, and 88% saying they believe financial literacy should be treated as a core subject in school, just like math and science. We believe every student deserves this same head start, which is why we’re focused on providing the real-world tools and confidence needed to build a prosperous future. What is the #1 question I get these days? With the rise of GenAI, can I really trust AI with my taxes? My answer: Not on its own. And not without personal and financial risk. General-purpose Large Language Models (LLMs) are incredible tools, but they are exactly that: general and open. I wouldn't want my personal banking, investment, or tax information floating around on an open platform, and our customers don't either. For the 75% of American households earning under $100,000, the tax refund is often their largest paycheck of the year; the average refund last tax season was over $3,000. This season filers are expected to see up to a $1,000 increase in refund or lower balance due. When the stakes are this high, you don’t just want a quick answer from a chatbot that requires you to provide your personal data on an open platform. You want the confidence that comes from a secure platform that connects your entire financial life and guarantees accuracy. That is why our strategy centers on pairing agentic AI with human intelligence (HI). Unlike general-purpose AI that simply scans the web, the AI powering Intuit TurboTax is purpose-built and trained by our network of experts specifically for tax preparation. It’s also a second brain for our 15,000 tax experts and a personalized guide for our DIY filers, ensuring every calculation is deterministic and accurate. As part of our strategy, we're helping shape the future of financial intelligence by working with leading AI companies such as Anthropic and OpenAI to meet consumers and businesses where they are. The Intuit TurboTax app in ChatGPT turns tax questions into clear answers and instant action. And, TurboTax is now available in Claude through a MCP connector so Claude users can access Intuit's tax experiences, including connecting to trusted tax professionals. By leveraging 70,000 financial data points per consumer on a closed, secure platform, Intuit’s AI does the heavy lifting, automating the importing of 90% of standard tax forms and getting filers 80% done before they even begin. This synergy between data security, AI efficiency, and human expertise is how we guarantee the best possible financial outcome while powering prosperity for millions. General AI is fantastic, but when you’re trying to help people safely maximize their refund to fund their American Dream, we are confident in our AI+HI strategy!

Great piece from Victor Dey Fast Company with our CTO Alex Balazs. Definitely worth a read! 👇
🚨 Can AI Act As Your CFO? Intuit Is Trying To Find Out 🚨 AI hype is shifting again—from copilots to agents to full workflow automation. But in finance, the stakes are different. It’s about delegating decision-making in systems that demand absolute accuracy. And that’s where the narrative starts to break. 🎙️ I spoke with Intuit CTO Alex Balazs—who’s spent over two decades inside the company, from early QuickBooks Online to now leading its AI architecture, about why financial software is evolving into what he calls a “system of intelligence”, and why the path to an “AI CFO” is far more constrained than it appears. 🧠 Intuit's platform processes ~60 billion machine learning predictions per day, across 180 petabytes of financial data, serving nearly 100 million consumers and 10 million SMBs. 💬 “This combines the speed and scale of AI with human judgment and accountability,” Balazs told me. "Intuit Intelligence provides answers grounded in its own proprietary data and will take action on the user’s behalf, through automation and with a handoff to a trusted AI-enabled human expert." 📊 In its most recent quarter, Intuit reported $4.7 billion in revenue, up 17% year over year, with operating income rising 44% on a GAAP basis. 🧩 Through partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic, the company is also embedding agentic capabilities into external AI ecosystems while maintaining control over customer data. 💡 Balazs noted that users aren’t just asking accounting questions anymore—they’re using AI to design their businesses, from operations to hiring to logistics. 👉 Read the full conversation on Fast Company: https://lnkd.in/eEWkiUPA #EnterpriseAI #AgenticAI #Fintech #AIInfrastructure #CFO #AI #Intuit #QuickBooks #AIAdoption #GenAI #Data #Automation #FutureOfWork #Trust #AIPlatforms

Let's 🏀 go! Great game, great cause!
There’s nothing like the energy, competition, and unpredictability of #MarchMadness. Basketball has been a big part of my life. Growing up, it was more than just a game, it was an outlet, a teacher, and at times, a way to push through some of the toughest moments in my youth. It taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of showing up every day, lessons that have stayed with me ever since. That’s why I’m especially excited to be participating in Bloomberg’s #BracketsForACause this year. Beyond the competition, what makes this meaningful is the opportunity to support Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, an organization focused on improving financial literacy for young people, a cause aligned to our mission at Intuit of powering prosperity. Helping the next generation build confidence, whether on the court or with their finances, can change the trajectory of their lives. Looking forward to the competition and supporting a great cause along the way. Learn more about Jump$tart here: https://www.jumpstart.org/
