Collaboration creates change. 🤝 HACLA recently joined the City of Los Angeles as Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove announced nearly $3M in federal Community Project Funding. For our Pueblo del Rio community, this translates to $250,000 specifically for climate resiliency and resident wellness. By installing energy-efficient cooling systems, we aren't just upgrading buildings—we’re improving the daily quality of life for nearly 1,800 Angelenos. Deeply grateful for the leadership of Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Mayor Karen Bass, and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for making a real difference for our residents.

We joined Mayor Karen Bass to celebrate 53 new, 100% affordable homes for veterans in West LA! 🎖️ This isn't just a building—it’s a result of two major city efforts: ⚡Speed: Accelerated by Executive Directive 1, the Mayor’s tool to cut red tape and fast-track affordable housing across LA. 🤝Support: This project participates in House Our Vets, an initiative that’s already brought nearly 800 veterans indoors since last year. As Army Veteran David Sinatra shared: “After two long, painful years living out of my truck, I finally have a place to call home.” We’re proud to be part of the solution. We won’t stop until every veteran is home. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gE_x45dD #HouseOurVets #LALiving #SupportOurHeroes #ExecutiveDirective1 #EndHomelessness

  • At Pueblo del Rio, CSP Officer Hernandez, David Mays from the HOME Program, and BHI Veronica Quincy joined forces to assist our residents in completing their scholarship applications. Congratulations to our dedicated and hardworking students, and a big thank you to Build Hope Inc, and LAPDCSP for helping assist during such an exciting time.
