We’re hiring! Fralock is looking to add a Strategic Account Manager – Medical Device Sector to our Sales Team. This role will focus on supporting key medical OEMs and advancing early-stage NPI and engineered-solution engagements across high-reliability applications. We’re looking for candidates with (not an exhaustive list): * 5–10+ years of experience in Medical Device product development, NPI, or program management. Your path to success sometimes comes down to simply showing up — making one more call, or calling an audible when things don’t go as planned. Like the time I was blown off by a Sales Rep who was supposed to line up a half day of meetings to present a new product and services offering. Instead of packing it in, I improvised — and two hours later, I was sitting face-to-face with that Sales Rep’s #1 customer, the VP of Engineering, for a 90-minute meeting. I walked out with a new application to pursue. The best part? That same morning, the Sales Rep happened to stop by the customer’s office and saw me through the glass wall — in a closed-door meeting with the VP. The next best part came later that day during a scheduled training session, when I handed the new lead back to that same Sales Rep in front of all her peers — without rubbing her nose in it. From that day forward, the other nine Sales Reps made sure we had full calendars — every visit, every day — uncovering new opportunities and building relationships. That was my first day indoctrinating a newly acquired company’s sales force, whose customer base offered excellent adjacent business potential. We all face obstacles, setbacks, and barriers. But sometimes success is simply about refusing to be shut down or overlooked. If you’ve had a moment like that — when you pushed through and turned a setback into progress — share it.
