Thomas is thrilled to be running the world’s greatest marathon while fundraising for FamilyAid. A seasoned runner, he brings decades of experience — and plenty of heart — to this year’s team. Thomas has completed an incredible 25 marathons, including races in London, New York, Berlin, Uganda, and even the Paris Olympic Marathon. FamilyAid’s mission reflects everything Tara stands for. Tara is running in memory of her brother Jeff, whose passing inspired her to begin running and advocating for others who have faced deep struggles in life. Having worked in homelessness outreach and housing policy — and as a lifelong athlete — running for FamilyAid felt like the perfect way to combine both passions on the biggest stage. Now living in a new community, Ed is excited to get involved and make an impact through his first-ever marathon and longest race to date. 🏃♂️ Fast-Paced Fun Facts about Ed: 🎹 Classically trained pianist 🎷 Huge fan of Ethiopian jazz 🤿 Certified scuba diver 🏃 Boston will be his first marathon (and first race longer than a 10K!)
