Every year we send a crew to Creative South. Not to network or collect lanyards. But because being in a room full of people just as obsessed with this craft as we are makes you better at it. They came back to the Factory fired up. And when you're an agency built on genuinely good people, having them come back inspired means everything for what comes next.
Charleston was more than small talk. A few from our team spent the week at the Women in Restaurant Leadership (WiRL) conference, surrounded by women doing the hard work of moving the industry forward. We were proud to see our friend Toni Ronayne and The C Society in action — a brand we helped bring to life, now building community in real time. Toni’s keynote set the tone for the entire conference. Plus catching up with former clients like Nichole Robillard, and current clients like Katie Love and the whole Sonny’s BBQ team kept us sharp and reminded us that this is long-game work. The brands we’ve helped shape do not sit still, and neither can we. We went to sharpen our thinking. We came back clearer on our role. In restaurants, nothing is static. Not leadership, or growth, or competition. That’s why advertising, marketing and branding are not the extra. They are the engine. Here’s to building brands that work as hard as the women behind them.
