The Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report recognizes advancements that help move the lighting industry forward. At IES26 in Denver, two DMF innovations were featured in the 2026 report for doing exactly that. True 1 was recognized as the industry’s first true 1" adjustable downlight to combine low UGR with high lumen output, while the 0.5 Concealed Linear was recognized as the first micro linear diffuse modular system designed to be set apart from factory-built solutions. Seeing both innovations presented at IES26 reflects what continues to drive product development at DMF: solving real lighting challenges in new ways. Meaningful innovation should solve a problem, expand what’s possible, and give lighting professionals better tools to design with.

We had a great time at LightX showcasing our latest solutions. The DMF experience extended beyond the show floor this year. Lighting in the guest rooms at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center was upgraded from 6" to 4" DMF downlights using our Retrofit Conversion Kit.
