Progress becomes clearer when data is easy to grasp. In 2025, our teams advanced multiple initiatives across all transportation modes and facilities. Together, these efforts led to a reduction of 2.1m metric tonnes CO₂e. The comparisons in the carousel illustrate what these figures represent at scale. Footnotes: Picture 2: Based on an indicative average EU household footprint of ~10 t CO₂e/year (Ivanova et al., 2020; Zerofy analysis). Actual household emissions vary by country and lifestyle.  Picture 3: Passenger‑equivalent energy calculations are based on publicly available, route‑aligned fuel‑burn data for long‑haul aircraft. A benchmark fuel consumption rate of 32.2 grams of fuel per passenger‑kilometer is taken from published analysis of a Boeing 747‑400 operating a 5,556‑km sector. This distance closely aligns with the 5,554.5‑km great‑circle route between New York (JFK) and London (LHR).  Picture 6: Based on an indicative average uptake of ~10 t CO₂e per hectare per year for temperate, managed/regrowing forests, as referenced by the IPCC and FAO. One football field ≈ 0.7 ha. Actual forest uptake varies by region, age, species, and management. This does not represent carbon offsetting or permanent sequestration.

When we began operating in Bhutan in 1990, we added the 186th country to our network. We quickly learned that serving our Customers here means navigating landscapes that rise well above 2,000 meters, from valleys like Paro at 2,250 meters to routes that climb even higher. Today we still walk these high altitude paths because our Customers depend on us to reach them wherever they live. Their businesses and communities rely on a reliable connection to global trade, and we are proud to carry every shipment across terrain that is as demanding as it is inspiring. What is the most memorable location you have ever delivered to or worked in?

Which cities do we connect? 🌎 Our latest Guess the Route shines a light on an air connection that supports growing business activity across Asia. 💡Here are some hints: One of the cities recently expanded its logistics gateway, creating additional capacity for trade moving in and out of the region. The other is a major center for innovation, technology and international commerce. Together, they form a link that helps organizations stay connected to markets with rising demand.  Which cities do you think this air connection links? Share your guess in the comments. #GuessTheRoute #DHL #NoOneKnowsAsiaLikeWeDo

Question: What requires multi-agency coordination, four veterinarians, certified air transport solutions, and a direct international route, yet isn’t a commercial shipment? Answer: Honduras’ first international relocation of big cats. In January 2026, DHL Global Forwarding transported eight felines from San Pedro Sula to GFAS-accredited sanctuaries in the United States. Today, they are settling into enriched, species-appropriate environments at Carolina Tiger Rescue and Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. This operation demonstrates how specialized logistics, regulatory precision, and welfare-first protocols can create measurable conservation impact. Because sometimes, the most complex cargo carries a heartbeat. #DHL #GlobalLogistics #WildLife
