  • The Lindsay Clancy trial has been hard to look away from, and we’ve been covering it from inside the courtroom. Our Crime Reporter, Rachel Sharp has been in Massachusetts for the duration. On Tuesday, Daily Mail and 2WAY hosted a live Crime Desk special with Kayla Brantley and Luke Kenton. Rachel was joined by Annie Elise of 10 to Life, Joel Waldman of Surviving the Survivor, plus legal and mental-health experts. Viewers jumped in with questions as it happened. Be sure to watch it here: https://lnkd.in/gqrj2yEP That reporting is also feeding our podcast series The Trial: USA, leading to one of the most listened-to episodes of the year. Check out the podcast here: https://lnkd.in/gXjcXiBK From Rachel’s reporting inside the courtroom to live audience discussion and a rapidly growing podcast audience, The Crime Desk is giving people more ways to go deeper on the cases everyone is talking about.

What a great evening at our Daily Mail US Padel Night in New York City! 🎾 We brought together an amazing group for an evening of learning, friendly competition, and networking at Padel Haus Williamsburg in Brooklyn. After kicking things off with coaching from a Padel Haus instructor, everyone—from first-time players to experienced padel enthusiasts—jumped into fun tournament-style games. It was fantastic to see new connections being made both on and off the court, with many of us continuing the conversations over food and drinks afterward. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. We can't wait to see you at the next one!

  • We were delighted to welcome students from the Bronx High School of Science Summer Institute to the Daily Mail US New York office this week. It was especially meaningful to have several Bronx Science alumni—now part of the Daily Mail US team—help lead the visit, sharing their own career journeys alongside a behind-the-scenes look at our newsroom and the many teams that bring our journalism to life. We hope the day offered inspiration, practical insights and a glimpse into the many opportunities a career in media can offer. Thank you to the Bronx Science Foundation for making experiences like this possible, and to all of our colleagues who generously shared their time and expertise with the next generation of journalists and media professionals. #Journalism #Media #FutureTalent #Education #CommunityPartnership #CareerDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #MediaCareers #Mentorship #NextGeneration #DailyMailUS

Good morning, LinkedIn network. I’m pleased to share that I am back home in NYC after a few years in LA. My heart goes out to other talented professionals finding the job market absolutely brutal out West and across the country. I hope we can all remember former colleagues and peers once we are resettled in our own journeys. With genuine excitement and appreciation, I’ve joined Daily Mail US HQ in Astor Place, Manhattan, NYC. I will lead all US recruitment, partnering with a brilliant team of hiring leaders. Thank you Kara Dudley MBA, PHR, CDSP and Pedro Torres, Jr., PHR, SHRM-CP for connecting and bringing me onto the team to work closely with both of you! I look forward to collaborating with Luke Carron on our Talent communications, so stay tuned for what’s to come from us. #DailyMailUS #TalentAcquisition #DigitalMedia #NewTeam #NYC
