  • JohnWallStreet published a feature today on creator-led sports distribution. A conference commissioner, a combat sports CEO, a Brazilian creator who outrated the country's biggest broadcaster and Creator Sports Network.... All arriving at the same conclusion independently: CREATORS ARE SPORTS DISTRIBUTION We're proud CSN is part of the story, having built this model across nearly 300 live events. But what matters more than any single company is that the category is real, it's growing, and multiple operators are proving it works. (Full Article in Comments)

  • 30,000 people were watching the NCAA Elite 8 through a creator's lens this weekend. Not legally....but it tells you where things are headed. Twitch streamers Lacy and Sketch were live-streaming from courtside at Iowa-Illinois when they were asked to stop. Everyone in the industry understands why....You can't go live from an arena and broadcast rights exist for a reason. But 30,000 concurrent viewers, potentially more than the arena's attendance weren't tuning in to break rules. In fact, they were watching because that's how a generation experiences live sports. They've never known a world where content isn't interactive, shareable, and available on their terms. Streaming from a live event isn't a rebellious act, it's the default expectation (albeit illegal in this case). However, that expectation represents real, measurable, growing demand for live sports through a creator's perspective. Creator Sports Network has pioneered three new creator-led media rights windows with leagues globally - Creator Rights, Athlete Rights, and Key Hole Rights. The infrastructure exists to make this sanctioned, measured, and monetized. - Official overlays - Brand assets - Rights agreements. A new distribution tier that captures the audience already trying to watch this way. The behavior is here and the infrastructure to turn it into a rights window is too.

  • Linear. Streaming. Creator. That is the sports rights stack now and Creator Sports Network is building the Creator tier. CSN has been named the exclusive creator-led streaming partner for the Savannah Bananas' Banana Ball Championship League. Four live games distributed across a network of digital creators on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook. These are not highlights or clips, these are full live games in a dedicated creator window. For brands, this is a new inventory class inside live sports. Creator-led broadcasts deliver audiences that are actively participating, not passively watching. Chat, clipping, sharing, reacting in real time inside communities built on trust. That is a fundamentally different product than a 30-second spot against declining linear ratings. The younger audiences leaving traditional TV are not disappearing. They are watching creators. This is how brands reach them inside live sports. Great breakdown from David Skilling on what this deal means for the future of sports rights --> https://lnkd.in/e4Vyv5x2

  • Creator-led sports just made its biggest U.S. move yet. Baller League USA launched in Miami this week with a 10-team, six-a-side soccer format - iShowSpeed as league president, Ronaldinho and Usain Bolt as team managers and matches airing on CBS Sports’ Golazo Network. This is a league built from the ground up around creators as the central product not as promotional talent bolted onto an existing league. For the creator-distributed sports ecosystem, the takeaway is clear: creator-native formats can sustain appointment viewing, attract broadcast partners, and scale across geographies. The infrastructure (Creator Sports Network) that supports them at scale: overlays, brand integration, multi-platform delivery becomes the backbone of a new category.

  • The NFL is locking up rights deals worth $20 billion annually through 2034. Super Bowl ads hit $8 million for 30 seconds this year. As premium sports pricing escalates, an important question emerges for brands: where else can you reach passionate 18-34 sports fans with real engagement? The answer is increasingly in creator-distributed environments where audiences choose to show up, stay for 20+ minutes and engage with content that feels personal rather than prescribed. At Creator Sports Network, that's the model we're building - access to the same and unduplicated fans, in ways that are more efficient with measurably deeper engagement. https://lnkd.in/eaWdxT3H

ICYMI: History was made this past weekend in college sports. For the first time, D1 athletes in the Mountain West Conference streamed live conference games directly from their personal social accounts, marking a new chapter in how live sports can be distributed, discovered, and experienced. Through a partnership between CSN, the Mountain West Conference and Opendorse, fans could watch through the voices and communities closest to the action, turning the live moment into something more immediate and personal. As CSN Founder Barrick Prince put it, “We’ve heard this sentence for so long: The athlete is a media company. Well, now, the athlete is the distributor.” For athletes, it creates new ways to connect and participate. For conferences, it expands reach without disrupting existing partners. For fans, it brings the game into their own conversations in real time. Make no mistake: this is what the future of live sports looks like. https://lnkd.in/gZzUa77r Awful Announcing Brendon Kleen

  • Live sports don’t just need distribution. They need trusted distribution. On Advertising Week's AW360 podcast, Creator Sports Network Co-Founder Barrick Prince addressed how CSN is built to solve this gap in the market. As media fragments and audiences move away from traditional channels, who carries live sports becomes as important as where they’re watched. Reach without credibility doesn’t convert. Exposure without trust doesn’t last. CSN brings live sports into creator-led environments where trust, context, and community already exist, extending real moments through people audiences already follow and believe. CSN gives brands and partners a trusted way to show up around live sports in environments where audiences are actually engaged. We create a complementary distribution layer that delivers real moments through credible creators, which helps unlock reach, relevance, and trust at the same time. In the next era of sports media, the advantage won’t come from owning more platforms. It will come from pairing the power of live sports with the credibility of creators. https://lnkd.in/gVB2dySC

  • In an AI-saturated internet, trust becomes the scarcest asset in media. In his latest piece for Disruptive PlayMichael Cohen posits that we’re entering a world where audiences can’t assume what they’re seeing is real. Synthetic content is everywhere. The default mindset shifts from “this is real” to “this might be fake.” In that environment, two formats gain structural power: Live sports — the moment is real, unscripted, and happens once. Creators — audiences trust people, not algorithms. Together, they form one of the most defensible content stacks in media. That’s the ecosystem Creator Sports Network is building around: the power of live sports, distributed through the credibility of creators. Live sports provide guaranteed authenticity. Creators provide trusted curation and context. That combination creates something rare in today’s culture: audience belief. This is what advertisers, platforms, and rights holders will increasingly pay a premium for. Creator-led distribution around live sports isn’t a trend. It’s infrastructure for a world where trust is the moat. https://lnkd.in/gyQvYRcx
