  • We had a great conversation today at the Agri-Pulse Communications Summit about what it’ll take to grow new markets and scale next-generation biofuels around the world. We’re focused on double cropping systems with intermediate crops, planted between main seasons, that can support soil health, add a new revenue stream for farmers, and provide lower-carbon feedstocks for renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. Through Etlas (our joint venture with bp) and our work with Bunge and Chevron, we’re helping connect the value chain from field to fuel. Scaling this globally will take strong partnerships and clear, consistent policies that give the whole value chain the confidence to invest. #Corteva #Biofuels

  • We’re celebrating two years of Corteva Catalyst! 🥳 Since its launch, our innovation and collaboration platform has cultivated a portfolio of more than a dozen partners across the globe, helping to accelerate the pace of innovation and get new solutions into the hands of farmers. Because we believe that by working together, we can tackle the biggest challenges facing agriculture and build a more resilient food system. #CortevaCatalyst #KeepGrowing

  • From California to Thailand to Brazil, progress happens when innovation meets real world needs. In 2025, we advanced solutions that help farmers improve their crops and their profitability—from launching nearly 500 new, sustainable products to investing in biofuels through Etlas™, our joint venture focused on feedstocks for sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel. Our Annual Report captures how that work is showing up across geographies, crops, and markets. Explore the full report and see what we’ve been building. 🔗: https://bit.ly/3NNvWJW

  • By 2050, nearly 2 billion more people will rely on the global food system—requiring ~50% more food, produced sustainably. Agriculture has done this before. In the U.S., farmers have boosted production more than 300% over the past 70 years. The next leap will be driven by innovation—and partnership. This week at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit, leaders across sectors explored how tools like gene editing, biologicals, and AI can help sustainably feed a growing world. Progress doesn’t happen in silos. Collaboration will be key.

  • We’re always looking for smarter ways to work with nature. That's why we're teaming up with Resurrect Bio to help boost corn’s natural defenses against disease. By pairing their AI‑driven science with our deep R&D expertise, we’re focused on helping farmers manage disease with fewer inputs and more confidence. It’s another step in putting science to work for the future of farming.

🌽 We are happy to announce our collaboration with Corteva Agriscience! 🌽 Resurrect Bio is partnering with Corteva Agriscience to tackle some of the most economically devastating diseases currently affecting corn production in the United States. “By leveraging the contributions of Resurrect Bio’s FloraFold® AI platform with our industry-leading Genlytix™ ecosystem and our world class genetics resources, we’re excited about the new solutions this collaboration can deliver for U.S. corn farmers,” said Wendy Srnic, Vice President of Biotechnology for Corteva. "This Joint Development Agreement marks a pivotal shift for Resurrect Bio as we move our technology closer to the field with a leader like Corteva," said Dr. Cian Duggan, CEO & Co-Founder of Resurrect Bio. "We aren't just looking to make plants slightly better; we are looking to restore an ancestral resilience that pathogens have spent centuries trying to suppress. By fixing these broken immune receptors, we provide farmers with a durable, biological shield against corn’s most persistent threats." This collaboration highlights how Resurrect Bio’s rapid disease trait discovery platform can support a more resilient food system at scale. 🚀 Read more below.

  • Congratulations to the Tropic team on their financing round. We’re proud to have co-led the round through our #CortevaCatalyst platform - which will help accelerate global commercial scale up of its gene edited banana and rice portfolios and advance its pipeline of climate resilient crops. This is a promising example of a breakthrough innovation that will deliver new and improved choices for farmers and consumers worldwide.

🌾 Tropic raises $105 million in an oversubscribed Series C 🍌 We’re thrilled to announce the close of our Series C financing, accelerating the global commercial scale‑up of our banana and rice portfolios and advancing our pipeline of climate‑resilient crops. In 2025, we launched the world’s first new commercial banana varieties in over 75 years — including a non‑browning banana, named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2025, and an extended shelf‑life variety that adds 12 days of green life, boosts field yields, unlocks new export routes and cuts transportation waste by up to 50%. With demand already outpacing supply, this investment will expand large‑scale plant production, strengthen global supply chains and support commercial partnerships across major export markets. It will also accelerate the development of disease‑resistant banana varieties — including resistance to TR4 and Black Sigatoka — expand our rice portfolio, and support entry into additional high‑impact crops. The round was co-led by Forbion through its Bioeconomy Fund and Corteva Agriscience, through its Corteva Catalyst investment platform, with significant participation from Just Climate and IQ Capital. The round was also supported by new investors ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Invest International, and existing investors Temasek, Five Seasons Ventures, Sucden Ventures, Genoa Ventures and Polaris Partners who participated in the round. Our sincere thanks to our investors and partners — and enormous credit to our outstanding teams, whose talent, determination and belief in our mission make milestones like this possible and are transforming tropical agriculture worldwide. 🔗 Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/eiNK3sCC #SustainableAgriculture #AgTech #Biotech | Gilad Gershon Eyal Maori
