Last week, Kenyata joined her fellow nominees at the Annual ATHENA Awards Banquet on March 26. Being nominated for the ATHENA Award is a significant honor. It recognizes leaders who demonstrate professional excellence, community service, and a commitment to empowering women in leadership. We're excited to announce that Doug Veazey has joined Claiborne Senior Living as our new Chief Operating Officer. Doug brings nearly 20 years of senior living experience to this role. Most recently, he served as COO at Dominion Senior Living, where he oversaw daily operations for 34 communities. Before that, he helped grow Enlivant Senior Living's East Division from 16 communities to 64. He also brings a background in sales and marketing leadership from earlier in his career at Keebler/Kellogg's and Flowers Baking Company. As we continue to grow, Doug's experience scaling operations while keeping people at the center of everything will be a huge asset to our team.
