Playoff hockey is where preparation is tested, decisions are made in seconds, and every detail matters. This season, California Closets is right there, behind the bench on both sides of the playoff.   As the Carolina Hurricanes and the Philadelphia Flyers face off in the second round, we’ve been lucky enough to support both teams vying for the Stanley Cup.   This playoff season, our California Closets: North Carolina & Virginia is the proud bench sponsor for the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes are currently matched up against the Philadelphia Flyers; and guess who sponsors the home bench for the Flyers - our parent company, FirstService Brands, whose sponsorship includes CertaPro Painters on the Away Bench and CalClosets on the Home Bench.    Whoever wins, we’re proud to support both teams.

This Earth Day, we're reflecting on the many ways we can make your space and our operations better for the planet. Sustainability is not a trend, but a mainstay of our business. We are continuously reevaluating and looking for ways to be more mindful of our resources. Below are a few of the ways we're trying to do our part, but you can read more at the link. 🌎 All of our board is CARB Phase 2 compliant (California Air Resource Board), ensuring they are significantly safer for indoor air quality. 🌎 Our 2 corporately owned manufacturing facilities located in Grand Rapids, MI, and Tolleson, AZ, supply product to 60% of our locations. At these locations, we focus on reducing energy and waste. For example, our machines use eco mode to optimize power consumption. Shipments are consolidated for minimal impact and inbound packaging is repurposed for outbound freight. 🌎 The majority of our corporate staff works remotely, saving about 25.6 pounds of CO2 emissions per team member, per day. https://lnkd.in/gVmptna8
