An employee's return to work after injury can have a lasting impact on their recovery, productivity, and long-term success. How that process is managed matters a lot - for the individual and the organization. In our latest blog, we break down the five essential components of an effective RTW program and how they help create better outcomes for employees and employers alike: 1. Job analysis 2. The interactive process 3. Graduated return-to-work plans 4. Return-to-work job coaching and ergonomic analysis 5. Temporary or alternative off-site job placement Read the blog to learn how a strong RTW program benefits both employees and employers! https://hubs.ly/Q04vBrt40
About us
At Briotix Health, we build relationships with you and your workforce to deliver meaningful results in employee health. We focus on musculoskeletal injury and disability prevention; leveraging customized next generation technology to optimize results. Our three areas of focus are Industrial Sports Medicine, Office Ergonomics & Health and Small Site & Specialized Solutions. Industrial Sports Medicine – Just like an athletic trainer keeps athletes on the field and healthy or returns them back from sprains and strains more quickly, we do the same for your workforce. We address early discomfort with OSHA compliant discomfort management techniques. We coach, train, and work with your workforce on best practices. We help them individually with any musculoskeletal impairments they might have that make them susceptible to injury. We investigate and address workplace hazards like ergonomics and safety hazards to reduce risk of injury that way. Our programs can be delivered onsite or virtually – think “telemedicine for injury prevention.” Office Ergonomics & Health – Briotix Health has built next generation software to help organizations empower employees to manage their own ergonomic risk and help employers and our team build relationships with your workforce so that we can support them in the process when they need it. That support can be delivered onsite or virtually. This approach helps you manage large programs with a very small investment and optimized efficiency. Small Site & Specialized Solutions – Briotix Health is often called upon by our clients to perform ad hoc risk analysis, job analysis or other projects related to ergonomics, wellness, return to work, and employee health. We are a full service, global ergonomics consultancy that can help with any specific workplace need that you might have. Based in the United States, the company serves clients in all 50 states and 63 countries. Please visit the company’s web-site at http://www.briotixhealth.com.

How do athletic trainers actually spend their professional time? My research team is continuing recruitment for a national study examining how certified athletic trainers allocate their time across the five Board of Certification (BOC) practice domains and which activities they perform most often within those domains. The study examines how ATs allocate their professional time across the five BOC practice domains, the activities they perform most often within those domains, and how practice may differ across employment settings, experience levels, and professional roles. We’re excited about the strong response we've received from athletic trainers working in secondary school settings. But as we continue recruitment, we’d especially like to hear from ATs working in collegiate and occupational health settings. If that's you, please consider taking a few minutes to help us out. And if you know someone working in those settings, please consider passing this along to them. There's a link in the comments below. Thanks for your help! Raise your hand if you have ever experienced office work related discomfort ✋ A persistent ache in your back, a twinge in your wrist, tight shoulders... Work-related discomfort is extremely common among office workers. Studies have found as many as 80% of office workers experience some form of musculoskeletal discomfort in the course of a year. Most of those cases are preventable with basic ergonomics training and support. Listen to our recent conversation with Kristianne Egbert, a Certified Professional Ergonomist, about how organizations can better support their office staff to stay comfortable, healthy, and productive. Last week, a group of Briotians headed to Topgolf in Centennial, Colorado, to support the Pinnacol Foundation (Kids' Chance of Colorado), at their annual fundraising tournament! This foundation provides scholarships to the children of workers who have been killed or critically injured on the job. Briotix Health sponsored a bay for the event, and our team competed against 28 other teams, placing in the top five! Beyond the competition, the event gave our team members the chance to connect with the people behind the mission. We met several Kids' Chance scholarship recipients and heard firsthand how those scholarships have helped make college possible for them. #KidsChance #WorkersCompensation #CommunityImpact #GivingBack

For Kelsey Tilley, an Industrial Sports Medicine Professional, helping employees feel better starts with the little things such as better movement, smarter habits, and practical ways to reduce physical strain. Over her three years with Briotix Health, Kelsey has seen how small changes can make a big difference. One of her proudest moments was helping an employee who had experienced discomfort for more than eight years finally find relief through personalized mobility and self-care strategies. We’re grateful for the care, knowledge, and impact Kelsey brings to the team every day! #BriotixHealth #BriotianSpotlight
