  • It was working… until backflow started damaging the compressors ⚠️ During turbine startup in a propylene process, the existing valves couldn’t provide proper isolation. The result: • Efficiency losses • Unplanned downtime • Increasing operational costs The solution wasn’t more maintenance.” It was rethinking isolation. With triple offset valves: ✅ Reliable sealing under critical conditions ✅ Reduced pressure drop across the system ✅ Maintenance stopped being a recurring issue Sometimes, efficiency isn’t in the process… it’s in the components that make it possible. 👉 Discover how this solution works https://lnkd.in/gF37GmJB #ProcessEfficiency #BackflowPrevention #PetrochemicalEngineering

  • Maintaining long-term operational efficiency in an industrial system requires components that can sustain performance and precision over time. The true impact of innovation is reflected in real duty cycles. That is why the EBV Series has been designed to provide precise flow regulation and reliable operation under a wide range of conditions. Performance is supported by verified product data: 🔄 Proven durability through testing Each component has undergone rigorous testing of over 200,000 operating cycles, supporting consistent performance over time. 🛡️ Reliable long-term operation This durability is supported by a 5-year warranty and robust design features, including stainless steel trim and suitability for steam applications up to 15 PSIG, along with high flow capacities. Optimal control does not have to require oversized actuators or compromise sealing performance. Efficiency is achieved through precise engineering and low torque design. 🎥 Watch the full video on our YouTube channel to learn more technicals details https://lnkd.in/gD-kDm8D #ProcessControl #ValveTechnology #EnergyEfficiency

  • One of the biggest challenges in slurry handling is that wear is often invisible until performance starts declining. At first, the process still runs normally. Then flow becomes less consistent. Maintenance intervals shorten. Material begins accumulating inside the system. And eventually, downtime becomes unavoidable.⚠️ That reality is common across industries like mining, mineral processing, power generation, cement, and pulp & paper, where abrasive media continuously pushes equipment to its limits. Over time, the industry has learned that solving slurry challenges is not only about using stronger materials. Design matters just as much. That is the engineering approach behind Bray International’s SlurryShield® valve portfolio, including the Series 767, 768, and 762. Features like: ✔️ energized elastomer sleeves ✔️ bidirectional shutoff ✔️ full-port flow paths ✔️ self-cleaning technology ✔️ field-maintainable configurations 🔧Were developed to help reduce buildup, protect internal components, and simplify maintenance in abrasive process environments. For example, the Series 768 incorporates a self-cleaning design intended to help prevent material accumulation and reduce sleeve wear over time with minimal maintenance. 🔗 Discover more details https://lnkd.in/g4g-VsDr Meanwhile, the Series 767 and 762 focus on maximum abrasion resistance, long-term operational reliability and ease of maintenance in high-pressure slurry applications. 🔗 Learn more about Series 762 https://lnkd.in/g9fyR-Cc 🔗 Discover more information about Series 767 https://lnkd.in/gEtagYG7 As slurry systems become more demanding, the conversation is shifting beyond simple valve selection. More operations are evaluating how equipment design impacts maintenance strategy, process continuity, and total cost of ownership across the entire system. #SlurryValves #FlowControl #ValveTechnology

  • In applications with infrequent valve operation, one hidden challenge can quietly become a costly failure: Scale accumulation on the ball surface. In industries like pulp & paper, mining, petrochemical, and refining, certain media naturally build thick scale when valves remain dormant over time. 🔍The problem? With a traditional ball valve, that buildup must be scraped away by the seat during operation. 🔴The result often includes: • Increased operating torque • Scored sealing surfaces • Difficult operation • Premature failures such as seat leakage, sheared stems, or seized valves So, what changes when when engineered geometry changes? The Resolute Ball™ was engineered specifically to address this challenge. Unlike a standard spherical ball that stays in contact with the seat throughout the full 90° operation, the Resolute Ball™ design minimizes ball-to-seat contact after just 10 degrees of rotation. Why does that matter? Because accumulated media particles can be flushed past the ball and seats instead of being dragged across the sealing surface. This design helps reduce wear by up to 70%, while also supporting: ✓ Reduced operating torque ✓ Improved valve performance ✓ Extended service life ✓ Increased reliability ✓ Lower total cost of ownership Another practical advantage: The Resolute Ball™ can be used as a drop-in replacement for multiple standard product lines, including RF15/RF30 one-piece flanged ball valves and F15/F30 two-piece flanged ball valves. Sometimes, solving a recurring maintenance challenge doesn’t require changing the entire system—just rethinking the geometry behind the solution.
