They say there’s safety in numbers, and it’s true—especially in finance. At BILL, our security is as big as our network. If a fraudulent account is flagged by just one of our nearly half a million customers, it’s instantly flagged for everyone. That collective intelligence—plus a few other security tricks up our sleeves—helped us block over 8 million fraud attempts in 2025 alone. You can scale safely when BILL has your back, because the best defense is a massive offense. https://bit.ly/4blobE7

Paying vendors gets complicated when they are spread across countries and each one has different payment requirements. Mike Buttimer from The Vermont Flannel Company shares how BILL has helped their team handle international payments directly in the platform. They can send international wires, pay vendors through ACH, or have BILL mail a check when that is the preferred method. Having those options in one place saves time and removes the need to manage wires through the bank or cut checks manually. Watch how Vermont Flannel Co. pays vendors the way they want to be paid. “𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.” That’s the email my client’s subcontractors now receive when a payment is released. This client recently onboarded into BILL after previously being frustrated with the manual processes of other billing platforms (you can probably guess a few). As their bookkeeper, the difference in the workflow was immediate: ➡️Bills come directly into BILL (not my task). ➡️They get approved (client approves). ➡️We choose ACH or credit card (client decides). ➡️It syncs to QuickBooks (not my task). Then BILL automatically notifies the vendor when the bill is received, when payment is scheduled, and when the funds will land. As a bookkeeper, that part honestly makes me excited - especially because I didn’t have to send those emails manually. But did you notice? None of that process required a manual task on my end. I now get to handle the oversight instead of being in the weeds of A/P. This is exactly why I believe bookkeepers should be introducing tools like BILL to their clients. When the workflow improves, everyone benefits: the owner, the vendor, and the books. Proven beats promises. More details about BILL in the comments. #PaidAd #ButAlsoHappyBookkeeper #BILLpartner

Bookkeepers do way more than crunch numbers. They’re part of a long, fascinating tradition that keeps businesses running smoothly. Did you know that… 🏺 The earliest bookkeeping records date back more than 5,000 years ago to ancient Mesopotamia, where transactions were tracked on clay tablets. 📜 The double-entry bookkeeping system we still use today was popularized in 1494 by Luca Pacioli, a Renaissance mathematician. 🔤 “Bookkeeping” is one of the only English words with 3 consecutive double letters. ♀️ More than 80% of bookkeepers are women. Here’s to the people behind the numbers—part of a profession that keeps evolving. 🙌 Join us for Bookkeeper Appreciation Week at BILL: https://bit.ly/3PpSCk2
