  • You tweaked the creative. You tested new channels. The results still fell flat. The problem probably isn't your creative, it's who you're showing it to, and when. We broke down the 4 audience mistakes quietly killing eCommerce ROI, and the two data layers that fix them. 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dKZ7Xm_a #eCommerce #DigitalMarketing #AudienceStrategy #IntentData #MarketingData #RetailMarketing #DataDriven #B2BData #CustomerAcquisition

  • Email is one of the highest-ROI channels in marketing. It is also one of the most abused ones. Not intentionally. But the structural incentives around email marketing push toward volume in ways that quietly undermine the channel over time. More sends means more opportunities to convert. A bigger list means more reach. The logic is straightforward and it consistently leads to the same outcome. Deliverability problems. Unsubscribe rates that creep upward. Sender reputation that degrades incrementally. Inbox placement that gets worse over time as ISPs identify the pattern of sending to addresses that do not engage, do not open, and increasingly mark messages as unwanted. Most of these problems trace back to the same source. The list contains too many addresses that should not have been on it. Contacts who were never genuinely in market. Addresses that are outdated or unverified. People who fit the demographic target but were not anywhere near a purchase decision when the send went out. The email that should never have been sent is not the one with the wrong subject line. It is the one sent to someone who was never going to open it because they were never interested in what it was offering, or because the address it went to no longer belongs to the person it was intended for. List quality is an email performance problem that almost never gets diagnosed as such. It gets diagnosed as a creative problem, a frequency problem, a timing problem. The root cause sits at the identity layer. Verified, intent-linked email audiences built from confirmed, current contact data connected to real in-market behavioral signals produce fundamentally different results than volume-based lists assembled from demographic matching. Not just better open rates. Better deliverability, better sender reputation, and better long-term channel health. The best email strategy starts before the subject line is written. It starts with who is actually on the list. 🔔 Follow BIGDBM for more on email audience quality, identity data, and channel performance. #EmailMarketing #AudienceData #DataQuality #IntentData #IdentityResolution #DataDrivenMarketing #MarketingStrategy

  • The Longest Sales Cycle in the Room Every industry has its own version of the long sales cycle. Enterprise software. Financial services. Healthcare decisions. High-value consumer purchases. The categories differ but the dynamic is the same. The consideration phase is extended, the decision involves multiple touchpoints, and the buyer is doing significant research before they are anywhere close to committing. Long sales cycles are often used as a reason why intent data is less applicable. The argument goes that because the decision takes months the real-time urgency of a 72-hour consideration window does not apply in the same way. This argument misunderstands what intent data does in a long cycle context. In a long sales cycle the consideration phase does not compress. But it does have a beginning. There is a moment when a buyer shifts from passive awareness of a category to active research within it. That moment is identifiable through behavioral signals. And it is the most valuable moment in the entire cycle to be present for, precisely because the cycle is long. The brand that identifies a buyer at the beginning of an extended consideration phase and maintains consistent, relevant presence throughout it has a structural advantage over every competitor that only becomes aware of that buyer later in the process. The relationship, the familiarity, and the trust that accumulates across a long sales cycle starts compounding from the first touchpoint. Miss the beginning of the cycle and there is a gap in the relationship that is very hard to close from the middle. Competitors who were present from the start have already shaped how the buyer thinks about the category, what criteria matter, and which names feel familiar when the final decision gets made. Intent data in a long sales cycle is not about closing faster. It is about starting earlier. And starting earlier is the entire advantage. 🔔 Follow BIGDBM for more on intent data, long cycle audience strategy, and in-market targeting. #IntentData #B2BMarketing #SalesCycle #AudienceStrategy #DataDrivenMarketing #DemandGeneration #MarketingStrategy
