Earlier this year, our VP of Technology Michael Reiczyk joined a panel at SXSW hosted by Amazon to discuss the reality of deploying AI agents in production — the wins, the surprises, and what we're all learning along the way. He shared how Bandsintown Group is using Amazon Nova Act for data validation at scale, and why keeping humans in the loop matters so much when you're powering something as personal as live music discovery. View or listen to the full conversation on the latest episode the Making a Mind podcast from Amazon Science. It’s an inspiring listen for anyone thinking about agentic AI in practice, not just theory. 🎧 https://lnkd.in/gqDuUUcJ

We’re excited to announce our new collaboration with Amazon Music to power their concert listings worldwide. Through the new integration, artists’ upcoming shows published on Bandsintown will automatically appear on their Amazon Music artist profiles, increasing visibility and helping grow ticket sales that fuel their careers. Fans will also receive push notifications from Amazon Music when artists they follow are playing nearby. Venues, festivals, and promoters using Bandsintown Pro also benefit by having their events listed on Amazon Music. Learn more on our blog: https://lnkd.in/ejr-SN2f

Happy anniversary, NIVA - National Independent Venue Association!
Today marks six years since a bunch of us started NIVA - National Independent Venue Association in a shed behind the house. Well, there was no shed and we were all separately sequestered at the time, but it was more or less the same thing. The whole thing happened at such an accelerated pace that this sixth anniversary feels more like a 12th or a 15th. It's been a lifetime since those first calls. We came together for a cause but built a family in the process. Happy anniversary to all the venue owners, promoters, staff, artists, fans, and certainly the elected officials who stepped up to do what was needed in the middle of some terrifying circumstances. #saveourstages

Yesterday at SXSW, we hosted the Official Panel "Why Music Platforms Care About Live Music," bringing together voices from Spotify, Nederlander Concerts, and YouTube. Our own Fabrice Sergent moderated a great conversation unpacking the economic and cultural forces behind this shift, and what it all means for artists, venues, and the broader ecosystem. Big thank you to our panelists and everyone who came out!
