For many nonprofit leaders, the moment is familiar: the utility bill arrives, the number is higher, and an already tight budget has to absorb it. Then comes the harder part. Which programs apply? Is there an incentive worth pursuing? Who can help you figure out the next step? On September 10, we’re partnering with ArtPride New Jersey Foundation and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to connect nonprofit leaders directly with BPU staff, energy experts and a nonprofit leader who has successfully used these programs. “Reducing Energy Costs for New Jersey Nonprofits: Programs, Incentives & Practical Solutions” We’ll look at programs, financial incentives and technical resources available through BPU, New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program and utility companies across the state. Tell us what’s getting in the way. After you register, you’ll receive a short survey so you can share the energy challenges your organization is facing and the support that would be most useful. The webinar will close with a discussion of barriers, needs and ideas for future programs and partnerships. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the programs available, practical next steps and contacts who can help you evaluate opportunities for your organization. 📅 Thursday, September 10 ⏰ 10:00–11:30 a.m. 💻 Zoom →Register today: https://lnkd.in/g9QzrzpD #NewJerseyNonprofits #EnergyEfficiency #CleanEnergyNJ

Public investment in the arts creates measurable community impact. The latest Voices From the Field highlights how Camden FireWorks, under the leadership of Executive Director Jazlyne Sabree, is leveraging the NJEDA A.R.T. Phase II grant to create public art, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, support artists with fair compensation, and expand access to creative experiences throughout Camden. It's an inspiring example of how strategic arts funding fuels economic development, community engagement, and long-term neighborhood revitalization.
