Charitable gaming has become a critical source of support for veterans’ organizations, helping them serve veterans, strengthen their posts, and make a meaningful difference within their communities. For decades, Arrow has proudly partnered with The American Legion across numerous states. Arrow’s mission—helping our partners accomplish great things—aligns perfectly with the Legion’s commitment to serving veterans, their families, and the communities they call home. Building on this commitment, Arrow is proud to return as the exclusive Platinum Sponsor for The American Legion’s 107th National Convention, taking place Aug. 28-Sept. 3. Arrow looks forward to welcoming delegates, auxiliary members and veterans to the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, as thousands gather to drive key policies, community initiatives and essential support programs forward. #GamingForGood

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Nearly 300 local students headed into the classroom with confidence this school year, thanks to VFW Post 4075 and its Auxiliary. During their annual Back to School Backback Bash, veterans and volunteers handed out new backpacks filled with essential items, including pens, pencils, and notebooks. The post used revenue generated from its charitable gaming operations to cover the cost of the school supplies. #GamingForGood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Ride to Ride Out Breast Cancer Gaming Facility is expanding its outreach across Bullitt County and surrounding areas, fueled by revenue from its charitable gaming center. Founded by two-time cancer survivor John Kasey, the nonprofit provides free medical transportation, financial assistance, and emotional support to families navigating a cancer diagnosis. A dedicated team of volunteers drive up to 50 patients every week to and from essential doctor appointments. To keep up with growing demand, the organization recently used its charitable gaming proceeds to purchase an SUV, expanding its patient transport fleet. Those same charitable gaming funds are also powering a new game room set to open soon. Packed with pool, pinball, and foosball, The Spot will provide free entertainment for the entire community. #GamingForGood

On Sunday, Arrow International employees joined 4 Good Community and Ride to Ride Out Breast Cancer to support Kentucky families in need. In just two hours, volunteers distributed nearly $120,000 worth of donated goods, including household essentials and children’s toys. Each recipient chose one item for themselves and one to give to someone else. Arrow International's charitable gaming products help make donation drives like this possible. eTabs, pull tabs, and bingo provide sustainable funding for nonprofits to help the communities they serve. #WinWithArrow #GamingForGood See more: https://lnkd.in/eA34pzEs

Founded more than 50 years ago, AMVETS Post 75 has become a significant contributor to local charitable organizations. Mathis said the post donated roughly $220,000 to $230,000 in Daviess County last year alone. Under Kentucky’s charitable gaming laws, organizations donate a portion of gaming proceeds to nonprofit organizations. Mathis said recipients include foster care organizations, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Oasis Shelter and other community organizations, especially those serving children. Mathis said charitable gaming has also become essential to the survival of many veterans organizations. “Ten years ago, if it wasn’t for gaming and having these machines, you probably wouldn’t have a veterans organization here,” he said. “The government gives no funding. The state doesn’t do anything to help. We have to survive on our own.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/e3GYqniZ
