Today we released the Pre-feasibility Technical Report Summary (TRS) for the Arthur Gold Project, showing a Tier One gold deposit with robust economics and strong potential for further growth in southern Nevada’s Beatty Mining District.(1,2) The Arthur Gold Project brings commercial-scale gold mining back to a region with a proud mining heritage, reconnecting a historic Nevada mining district to a new generation of long-life, high-quality production. AngloGold Ashanti’s exploration team was recently recognised for the discovery of the Silicon and Merlin deposits which form the Arthur Gold Project, with the prestigious 2026 Thayer Lindsley Award for an international mineral discovery by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). 2026 Scholarship Applications Are Now Open Graduating seniors in Beatty, Pahrump, and Consulting Tribal communities — this one’s for you. The AngloGold Ashanti Nevada Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for 2026. This year, sixteen students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship, totaling $40,000 in support for higher education. Since 2022, the program has recognized students from Beatty High School and Pahrump Valley High School who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. It’s one way we help local students take the next step toward their goals.
