CPG is heating up for the summer, and six food brands in particular are making moves and are on my radar 🍧 GoodPop Sours used a SmartSweets collab to validate demand for sour + frozen, launching across Target locations. 🥣 Purely Elizabeth protein granola chose whole food protein over isolates and fillers, proving that as the $200M brand explores a sale, it's still anchoring new products to clean ingredients. 🍟 Snackish is founded bySmartSweets founder Tara Bosch and she’s back with a BFY chip brand already set to launch across Target locations nationwide in June. 🍬 Katjes is a 70-year-old European plant-based gummy brand entering the US with Jake Shane as CCO, with a clear competitive edge since the brand has been dye-free since the 1980s, perfectly timed against the FDA's synthetic dye regulations disrupting US candy brand operations 🍓Kraft Heinz Jell-O is reformulating with no artificial colors or sweeteners. Huge win for all the consumers putting Jell-O powder in their yogurt bowls! 🍗 Amylu Foods has a short ingredient list, no antibiotics or nitrates, and experienced 70% YoY growth in 2024.
