Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) participated in the 47G Project Alta Summit, one of the aerospace industry’s leading events focused on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), aerospace manufacturing innovation and the future of flight. Chase Dorsey, General Manager of AEC’s Salt Lake City, Utah facility, joined the “Utah’s Advanced Air Mobility Supply Chain” panel discussion alongside industry leaders to discuss how aerospace manufacturers, suppliers and technology partners are helping scale next-generation aircraft production and strengthen the AAM supply chain ecosystem. ✈️ Albany Engineered Composites Secures Long-Term Engine Contract with Pratt & Whitney We’re proud to announce Albany Engineered Composites has received a contract from Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, to produce composite structural components for the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine through 2036. Over the life of the contract, AEC will deliver advanced composite components using our resin transfer molding (RTM) and autoclave manufacturing processes—key technologies in advanced aerospace composites manufacturing. This program marks AEC’s first volume production program with Pratt & Whitney and represents an important milestone in our growth in the aerospace engine market and commercial aviation supply chain.
