With over 30 million hours watched, our AI-voiced dubs saw a 24% higher average view duration than the original English tracks. The industry has hesitated to use AI-voiced dubbing due to concern for audience experience, but we are seeing that audiences are embracing it. How the dubs are created matters to that outcome. These dubs are built on 3Play's human-in-the-loop workflows, where trained linguists shape voice, tone, timing, and cultural adaptation throughout the process. For broadcasters and platforms, the real question now is: how much more content, previously un-localized because the economics didn't work, can you now afford to bring to new audiences? We are here to help you answer that question. The new data can be found in our latest press release (linked in the comments). And come find us at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, September 11-14, to see the dubbing workflow in action!

The ADA Title II deadline moved. Your video archive did not. In April, DOJ pushed the web and mobile accessibility compliance dates back a year. Entities serving 50,000 or more people now have until April 26, 2027. Smaller entities and special districts have until April 26, 2028. Here is what did not change: WCAG 2.1 Level AA is still the standard. Title II's underlying nondiscrimination and effective communication rules never went anywhere. Students have been filing complaints under those rules for years without a technical standard to point to. So this is not a reprieve; it is a second budget cycle, which is what most campuses said they needed in the first place. The schools that paused in April will spend spring 2027 doing frantically what they could be doing calmly right now, and they will pay a rush premium for it. If you do not know where your risk sits, that is where Pulse starts. Pulse audits your existing captions at scale, predicts which files fall below the quality threshold you set, and shows you the cost and coverage tradeoffs before you commit a dollar. Pulse also extends that to audio description, so you can see which video actually needs it rather than guessing. Learn more about Pulse via the link in the comments.

The economics of entertainment are getting rebuilt in real time. New ownership models, cloud production, vertical microdramas, AI in every part of the pipeline. One thing that doesn't change: accessibility and localization decide how far your content actually travels. 3Play's Erik Ducker and Jodynne Wood will be DPP Production Now this Thursday in Los Angeles. If you're going and want to compare notes on captioning, audio description, dubbing, or reaching audiences in more languages, grab them between sessions or send a note ahead of time.

Search engines can't watch your videos. They can only read them. Captions and transcripts are the text that gets crawled and ranked, so accuracy matters more than most teams realize. YouTube's auto-captions land around 70% accuracy, and search engines don't reward content that looks auto-generated. Language is where the real growth opportunity is. Dubbing and subtitles put your videos in front of viewers searching in other languages, where there's less competition and more room to rank. Our latest blog breaks down what to fix first. Serving customers well starts with a team that knows each other. This week, the go-to-market team got together to sharpen how we solve problems for our customers, then had a blast watching a magician leave everyone speechless, including Co-CEOs Josh Miller and Christopher Antunes, who got just as stumped as the rest of us. The best customer conversations start with a strong team behind them.

You shouldn't have to manually flag every video that needs audio description. In this clip, Erik Ducker shows how Pulse can automatically route high-need videos to 3Play for remediation. Set the rule once, and compliance stops depending on someone remembering to check. Watch the full recorded webinar in the comments.

AHEAD 2026 starts tomorrow in Providence. If you're heading to campus this fall still relying on auto-captions and hoping compliance works itself out, let's talk. Pulse shows you exactly where your accuracy and audio description gaps are before they turn into a Title II problem. Our team still has time slots open this week. Grab one before the schedule fills up. Link in the comments.

Reviewing hours of video for missing audio description shouldn't mean watching hours of video. Erik Ducker explains how Pulse's video segment review feature shows you exactly where the gaps are before you even hit play, so you can skip straight to what needs attention instead of sitting through content that's already covered. Less guessing, less wasted time, more confidence that nothing slips through. Check the comments to watch the full webinar about Pulse for Audio Description.
