Pragmata Difficulty Modes
Before you begin your Space Dad adventures, Pragmata presents you with two difficulty options. Which option you choose should reflect your preference: one offers more challenge, while the other prioritizes story.
The two starting options are:
- Standard
- Casual
| Difficulty | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard | This mode is recommended for players who like action games. This is the normal difficulty setting. |
| Casual | This mode is recommend for players who are unaccustomed to action games. Enemies will be weaker. Aim assist will be turned on. (Can be changed in the Options menu.) |
If you choose Standard difficulty, you can revert it to Casual after being incapacitated (by losing all health). However, choosing Casual locks you into the decision; you can't revert it later.
How to Unlock Lunatic Mode in Pragmata
You unlock a third difficulty option after beating the game: Lunatic.
Lunatic is Pragmata's most challenging difficulty mode to overcome. Enemies are stronger, but you gain access to printable units at the Unit Printer at the start of your new game. Like with Casual mode, you cannot change from Lunatic difficulty after it's picked.

Pragmata Walkthrough Guide and Collectibles
There are eight missions in Pragmata, five of which include collectibles and items to track down and gather. Some missions are more direct to the point, either introducing you to the game via the Prologue, or will take you through several areas, each with its own list of secrets.
While using our Pragmata walkthrough, be sure to keep an eye out for blue popout boxes. These contain gameplay suggestions or instructions for locating collectibles such as Safe Boxes, Mods, Mini Cabin Figures, and more. They look a little something like this:
Safe Box 2 Location
Deactivate the laser wall at the end of the bridge and follow the path to a room containing a Safe Box. Clear the Walker enemy and open the box to acquire a cache of 100 lim.
Most Pragmata areas you visit during missions are Sectors, which can be split into sub-areas called Blocks. The first Sector contains three Blocks, but the number increases in later missions.
