Find Mol is a side quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 where you’ll need to search for the young tiefling child, Mol. Since Mol isn’t marked on the map, our walkthrough will guide you in finding her, in addition to letting you know when to even start looking.

How to Start Find Mol

To start this quest, you’ll need to speak to the tiefling children at Last Light after you fend off an attack on the settlement. They’ll be discussing Mol, their leader, and her disappearance. Entering the conversation allows you to promise to find her, after which the quest will be added to your journal.

Is Mol in the Shadow-cursed Lands?

Despite the number of allies taken away to Moonrise Towers, Mol is nowhere to be found. Nor will she appear when you venture into the Mindflayer Colony after fighting Ketheric. In fact, you can safely move on from Act 2 without missing out on finding the young tiefling; you won't run into her until the Lower City in Act 3.

The Lower City

You don’t need to think about Mol until you’ve reached the Lower City, which is the second large area of Act 3. When you’ve arrived, you can head west until you find Baldur’s Mouth, a newpaper company. From there, head south, down a sloping road, then east, until you find an alley occupied by a gang. Kill them or talk your way out of trouble, then search the building they’re standing around until you find a guild ring (there are a few to discover). Then head out the front door and use the Guild Ring with the slot on the wall across the road. This will open a hidden wall that leads to the city’s sewers.

Once you’ve entered, you’ll find Mol a short distance northwest of the entrance, among other children and a trader. Speak to her to discover that she’s making a name for herself among the criminal underworld. Now that you’ve confirmed she’s safe, the quest is complete. You don’t receive any proper reward, but you can buy some unique items off of her.
