Diablo Immortal has officially unveiled the new Warlock class, marking the 10th class available in the game. First announced as part of the Diablo 30th Anniversary celebration back in February, Diablo Immortal will be the third game in the franchise to add the Warlock to its ranks this year. The Warlock is coming to Diablo Immortal on June 17 alongside the game's 5.0 update.
The 30th anniversary of the Diablo franchise has already seen Diablo 2 receive its first new content in over 25 years via the Reign of the Warlock DLC for Diablo 2: Resurrected. Additionally, Diablo 4 received the major Lord of Hatred expansion, complete with the Warlock and Paladin classes. Now, Diablo Immortal is joining in on the fun with its own take on the Warlock class, along with a ton more content available as a part of this update.
Diablo Immortal Adds the Warlock Class on June 17
Following in the footsteps of Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 4, Diablo Immortal is introducing its own take on the Warlock on June 17. This version of the Warlock is a hybrid-ranged summoner with the ability to swap between ranged caster and demonic commander on the fly. Players will be able to control the Warlock's signature demon, Soulgorger, from level one, absorbing the power of demons mid-battle to grow stronger in real time.

In addition to controlling the demon Soulgorger, the Warlock of Diablo Immortal takes after its Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 4 counterparts with the ability to wield infernal magic as well. The combination of magic and demonic summons allows the Warlock to scale its builds to ridiculous heights. The ability to stack infernal magic, demonic summons, and Soulgorger's ability to devour demons and gain their power makes the Warlock a very versatile class when combined with Diablo Immortal's Legendary Gems and gear.
Other new content coming alongside the Warlock in the 5.0 update for Diablo Immortal includes the new region of Lut Gholein, making its return to the franchise for the first time since Diablo 2 Act 2. As a desert city built atop the ancient Vizjerei ruins, Lut Gholein holds strong ties to the Warlock, who carries on the tradition of demon summoning and control. In Diablo Immortal, Lut Gholein will be split into two districts for players to explore.

Diablo Immortal's endgame content is also getting bolstered with three new Helliquary bosses in this update, so players will have plenty of challenges to test their Warlock builds against. Between a new incarnation of the Warlock class, a new in-game location, and new boss battles via the Helliquary, Diablo Immortal's 5.0 update is set to revitalize Blizzard's mobile entry in the Diablo franchise. Diablo's year of the Warlock and 30th Anniversary celebrations continue when the class joins Diablo Immortal later this month.
