If you haven't already figured it out by now, ARC Raiders can be a lot to manage. If you aren't going into a round ready to fight for your survival nonstop, you might not end up having the best of times. One way to combat this is making use of the game's various keys.
ARC Raiders: Where To Use The Buried City Hospital Key
And you don't even need to show your insurance card.
As you'd imagine, keys open locked doors. What's behind these doors is a random loot drop, but you can be certain that these areas are always worth tracking down, as they hold the highest concentrations of top-tier gear in the entire game.
One such key you can locate is the Blue Gate Village Key, which opens up a house containing four entire rooms full of loot. Not only is all of this scavenging a great way to bank a ton of XP at once, but you'll also get to go back home with more useful gear than the average round. Assuming, of course, that you're able to extract safely after raiding this locked room.
If you need tips for anything relating to the Blue Gate Village Key in ARC Raiders, I've got you covered below.
How To Find The Blue Gate Village Key
Keys in ARC Raiders are randomized finds, but what I can do is share the location where I personally found the Blue Gate Village Key. After spawning into the Buried City, I started out at the Maintenance Depot. It didn't take long to find this specific key, as it was located right in this same location.
I took the time to loot the buildings in the Maintenance Depot, and the Blue Gate Village Key was waiting for me in a searchable filing cabinet, right next to a desk with a computer. There's no guarantee at all that you'll find it here too, but it is possible.
Other players have noted that they found this specific key in the Ruby Residence apartments in Dam Battlegrounds, which seems to be a hotbed for key drops.
Each and every time you find a key in ARC Raiders, you'd be wise to throw it in a safe pocket if you have one. If not, consider immediately extracting from the round. Keys are arguably the most valuable items in the game, so there's no shame in picking one up, then immediately getting the heck out of dodge.
Where To Use The Blue Gate Village Key
Putting the Blue Gate Village Key to use in ARC Raiders is actually pretty straightforward compared to many other keys in the game. This isn't a hard locked room to get to at all if you know where to look. You'll be headed to the Village on the Blue Gate map, with the locked room located at the green lock symbol on the map above.
You'll know you're at the correct building when it matches the image above, which has a barred front door. Luckily, your trusty Blue Gate Village Key is all you need to crack it open.
Once you unlock the door and head inside, I'd highly recommend shutting the door behind you so you don't trigger any nearby wandering Raiders to come in with you and either take you out, or start looting the interior themselves.
Inside of this house are four separate rooms to loot, so make sure you search the entire interior. There's a gun case in the first room, and many cabinets/drawers throughout the rest of the building that are hiding all manner of goodies.
You'll want to go ahead and throw whatever piece of new loot you're most attached to into your safe pocket(s), just in case things go south quickly at any point. Once again, the smart decision is to get off the map ASAP once you've looted the whole place.
If you have a hatch key, you can extract from the hatch on the eastside of the Village. If not, your best bet is the Cliffside Airshaft just to the southeast, assuming it's still operational.
The Cliffside Airshaft was my manner of escape. Just be cautious, as there are many ARC roaming the area between the Village and the Cliffside Airshaft. I actually got downed by an airborne ARC just after calling for my extraction, but was thankfully still able to fall down the airshaft and get back home with my gear.
If you're downed already at the top of an airshaft, just crawl to the edge of the shaft and fall all the way down to the bottom. There's no fall damage if you're downed anyway, so just dropping down and extracting is much quicker than crawling all the way down the stairs.
Blue Gate Village Key Rewards
The loot you grab from this locked room will be random, just like any other locked room in the game. Still, I found that I was able to come away with even more cool and useful gear than I expected, especially considering that Blue Gate Village Key is only of the Uncommon rarity.
In total, I had over 50,000 coins-worth of loot once I returned, which is also enough to earn a trophy/achievement called "The Big Haul."
Just for your own reference so you can decide if this mission is worth the risk to you, here's the best gear I walked away with:

In addition to the items above, this locked room also had tons of recyclables and other useful crafting components, making this trip well worth it for me.
