About Kaitlyn Bain

Kaitlyn is an experienced freelance writer and the owner of The Polished Writer. She's been gardening since she was a little girl and loves burying her hands deep in the dirt to encourage new life to sprout. One of her biggest passions is helping other gardeners learn the ins and outs of growing, harvesting, and caring for all types of plants. She once rescued a baby spider plant sitting in a hot grocery store parking lot. The babies harvested from that plant have produced several further generations of spider plants that she's lovingly cared for over the past ten years. Her favorite flower is the calla lily, and she loves finding new perennials that grow in her zone. Kaitlyn hopes to encourage as many people as possible to find joy in gardening and spending time in their own backyards.
