Product Description

Far across the sea, an island calls…Embark on a heartrending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world twisted by supernatural forces. After escaping their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo travel far south, to new regions and vibrant cities. There, they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. But, when Hugo’s powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. This is the Sequel to the Original game & is the most graphically impressive game I have ever played, even Crysis doesn’t compare. True 4K, up to 300k rats 🐀 on screen at once and smooth 30fps that doesn’t drop if your on series X or 40fps for 120hz mode New Allies, new weapons and a new adventure await Hugo & Amicia on their Journey trough France 🇫🇷 & the Mediterranean.

    I can’t say enough about this game. It is a hidden gem. This should be up there with some of the best storylines and different games. So simple yet so engaging. Everyone should give it a go. Play part one first, INNOCENCE.

    It’s locked at 30fps on all consoles on 60hz displays. If you have a 120hz display, it targets 40fps, with some drops below 20fps, on both Series X and PS5 (though the Series X holds the framerate quite a bit better). Still, it’s very disappointing seeing any game not hit 60fps this generation. Also, this is not in 4K like some people seem to think. It’s 1440p. That said, if those things don’t bother you (only the framerate bugs me), the story and graphics are great. It’s a pretty large improvement over the first game, overall. Of course you also get haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support on PS5.

    It’s a lovely game that continues the story of Plague Tale. I love the mood, atmosphere, and setting this game takes place in just like it’s previous iteration! The story continues the adventure of Hugo and Amicia! Though the ending is sad for one of our adventurers. It’s a good game with awesome graphics, storytelling, atmosphere, and the rats!

    Loved the first when it came out. Recently picked this up finally on sale and my god this game is amazing. Compared to the first the story telling is even better and the visuals are pretty epic in certain areas. This is honestly one of the very few games I would give a 5 to. Some frustrating parts here and there but nothing to subtract from.
