The Luce Scholarship is for rising and current seniors and provides stipends and individually arranged one-year internships to increase awareness of Asia among future leaders in American society. U.S. citizenship required. May NOT have a professed career interest in Asian affairs or have had significant exposure to Asia. Session is Tuesday, March 19 at 12:00 pm in 103 Barnes Hall. Pre-registration required at btf1@cornell.edu. Session will be repeated on Tuesday, April 23 at 4:35 pm in 103 Barnes Hall.
One fully paid year of Master's study at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Of interest to rising and current seniors who plan on careers in business and economics, public policy or international studies. Citizens of all countries are eligible. The Maribel Garcia Community Spirit Award is for remarkable contributions to the spirit of humanity. $250 is given each year to a Cornell student for making a remarkable, creative, specific contribution to the spirit of humanity. Consider applying for a Rhodes or Marshall Scholarship. Session is Thursday, February 28 at 4:35 pm in 103 Barnes Hall.
