Many developing organisations focus on the bottom of the pyramid. At the same time, the top of the pyramid has been discovered by more professional investors. This leaves the challenges to the so called ‘ Missing Middle.’ In the past years it has been my quest to find a way to contribute to financing the companies operating in the ' Missing Middle’ in developing countries.

Working for a small and dynamic company such as SCOPEinsight is ideal for me as I embark on a new career. It is exciting to be part of a team where my contributions are recognized and suggestions are sincerely considered.

Having studied Tourism Management, I developed an interest in countries all around the world. This combined with the fact that I want to work in a company that has a clear mission to make a positive difference in the world, is the reason why I enjoyed working for 6 years for an international not-for-profit organisation. For the same reason I am now happy to be part of the commited teams of NewForesight and SCOPEinsight!

I believe that Agriculture is the mainstay of most economies especially, in Africa. As such there is a need to grow many farmers from subsistence to commercial farming through offering inclusive Financial Intermediation. I am passionate about improving the lives and the livelihoods of the people through the transformational power of affordable and sustainable finance.

When agriculture is done right, the world will tackle food security. This will happen when we prioritize agricultural innovation and investment. Having been raised by a farmer and being a farmer myself, it is exciting to be part of the organization that will take farmer organizations to the next level in Kenya.

IT has a huge role to play in enabling agriculture which is the driving force of most global economies especially in Africa. I am passionate and glad to be part of SCOPEinsight in enabling and providing innovative, viable IT solutions and platforms that will enable access to finance and catalyze agri business for farmers and producer organizations.

I believe in the ability of people to achieve their own development. I believe in teamwork and the impact that can be achieved through collaboration between producer organizations, governmental and non-governmental organizations and the private sector. We are all responsible for our countries´ development.
