The alt-webring Webmaster gets an automatic email every time a new ring is created and will update this Directory daily. A proper
(automated) Directory will be introduced when there are a sufficient number of rings on this system to make one practical.
WHAT IS ALT-WEBRING?
alt-webring is a free service that enables you to create and manage web rings. Web rings link together sites that contain related content in a virtual 'ring', each site in the ring has a set of ring navigation controls that enable you to travel from one site to another around the ring. These controls are recognized by having links such as Next site, Previous site, Random site, List sites, etc.
JOIN AS MANY RINGS AS YOU WISH
Anyone can join or create as many web rings as they wish, indeed, you'll find they become very addictive! All you need to do is find a ring that suits the subject-matter of your site and apply to join it. Just click on the Join link and fill out the form, put the html code onto your page and (after approval by the Ringmaster) are a member of that ring!
CREATE YOUR OWN WEB RING
If you are unable to locate an appropriate existing ring, you can create a new ring of your own and invite sites to join it.
BENEFITS OF WEB RINGS
Surfers like web rings because they pull sites with related content together into an easily-navigable group of sites.
So web rings can increase the traffic to your site. But not just random traffic, your visitors will be actively seeking the type of content your site provides!
