Deadline: Insights Association Data Quality Benchmarking Project. There is a urgent need for more data from healthcare panels and market research firms working in healthcare to provide data for the Insights Association Data Quality Benchmarking Project. The most recent IA report showed that sample providers removed 21.4% of respondents and market research firms removed 43.1%; with an average LOI of about 15 minutes. As anyone in healthcare knows, these numbers do not reflect the realities of healthcare research. Unfortunately, without more healthcare-specific submissions, clients are misinterpreting these benchmarks and unfairly questioning the quality of healthcare data. If the IA doesn’t have healthcare data, it can’t represent the high quality of healthcare data. If you need any guidance, IA has made support hours available. They have also provided information about the project and videos online about how to provide the data. I’m hopeful the submission deadline will be extended, but for now it’s set for Monday, June 30.
