🍽️ The world's best food cities for 2026 have landed. After surveying more than 24,000 people across 150 cities worldwide and consulting Time Out's global network of editors and food experts, we've revealed this year's Best Cities for Food ranking. 🏆 Lima takes the top spot, followed by Bangkok, Mexico City, London and Barcelona. From legendary street food and family-run institutions to world-class restaurants and neighbourhood favourites, the ranking celebrates the cities where food isn't just something you eat – it's part of everyday life. This year's project also marks two exciting partnerships: 🇺🇸 In the US, we've teamed up with HelloFresh to launch the Best Cities for Food Recipe Collection, bringing flavours inspired by the winning cities directly into people's homes. 🇬🇧 In the UK, we're continuing our year-long partnership with Intrepid Travel to help travellers discover the food cultures, traditions and local stories behind some of the world's most exciting culinary destinations. Huge thanks to our editors, experts, audience and partners who helped bring this year's ranking to life. What's the best thing you've eaten recently? On May 27, we officially launched Time Out in Sweden (!!!) and seeing it all come to life like this was pretty special. Huge thank you to Redgert Comms for bringing it all together so seamlessly, and to our partners Uber and Strawberry for elevating the experience. But beyond the event, this marks something bigger: we are now live. Time Out Stockholm and Time Out Sweden are here to help people plan their weeks, their summers, where to eat, where to stay and what not to miss – and for brands, this is just the beginning of what we can build together. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dtZ7EkcU 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dDr-KhbW Social's: @timeout.sthlm @timeout.sweden If you’re a brand looking to be part of the cultural conversation in Sweden – let’s talk. Excited for what’s ahead!
We did a thing…✨ Time Out has officially landed in Sweden (!!!) On May 27, we celebrated our launch in Stockholm with an afternoon-to-evening takeover – starting with drinks at Celeste and ending at the newly opened hotspot Brasserie Astrid. The brief: great people, great food, even better cocktails… and, very importantly, honest ratings (Time Out style). Huge thanks to Redgert Comms for making the whole thing happen so seamlessly. Uber kept everyone moving across the city and Strawberry made sure no one woke up hungry the next day! 📸 by Studio Oskar Lind And the real news: Our Sweden & Stockholm sites are now LIVE. → https://lnkd.in/dUySYBHF → https://lnkd.in/drWtewwy Plus, come hang out with us here: @timeout.sthlm @timeout.sweden (and yes, we’re on TikTok too) Whether you’re planning your week, your summer, your next dinner, staycation or spontaneous night out – we’ve got you covered. This is just the beginning. 💥 #TimeOutStockholm #TimeOutSweden #LaunchNight #StockholmScene

Time Out has agreed a new long-term partnership with Grupo RBA in Spain. Under the agreement, RBA will acquire Time Out’s media operations in Spain and continue to publish Time Out Barcelona and Madrid under a franchise model. This marks a new phase for Time Out in this territory. We believe the brand can grow faster in Spain with the scale, expertise and multi-platform strength that RBA brings as one of the country’s leading publishers. We’re incredibly proud of what our teams in Barcelona and Madrid have built — creating trusted guides to city life for both locals and visitors. Time Out’s Media team in Spain will move across to RBA, continuing their work from its offices in Barcelona and Madrid, while Time Out Market in Spain remains owned and operated by Time Out Group. We’re confident RBA will be excellent custodians of the brand, and we’re excited to see Time Out Spain continue to grow as part of its portfolio.

🛞 Excited to launch new campaign in partnership with Toyota North America The ‘Call Your Shot: The Starting Line Live’ campaign celebrates bold AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) trailblazers, the moments that shaped them and what it means to bet on yourself. At the centre of it is The Speed Project - the legendary unsanctioned race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas - alongside a three-part video series following Jaeki Cho, Brian Puspos and Mirai Nagasu, OLY as they revisit the places where they first realised what was possible for themselves. To bring the campaign to life, Time Out Market New York in Brooklyn was transformed into a full-market celebration of AAPI culture and creativity, with immersive activations encouraging guests to reflect on their own ambitions and “call their shot”. Congratulations to everyone who shared their story and helped bring the campaign to life. interTrend Communications, Inc.

🎤 SXSW London’s Katy Arnander on why culture still matters more than ever As an official media partner of SXSW London, we headed to Shoreditch Arts Club with Katy Arnander, Chief Programming Officer at SXSW London, to talk culture, creativity and what’s bubbling up next in the world’s best city for culture. From emerging music scenes and grassroots creativity to why “non-obvious” ideas tend to be the most exciting ones, the conversation explores what happens when culture, tech, business and community all collide in the same city. The interview also marks the launch of 'Time Out Of Office' - a new Time Out B2B series featuring conversations with people across culture, hospitality, media, brands and city life. The idea is simple: take the conversation out of the boardroom and into the places where culture actually happens. Cafés, clubs, cinemas, galleries, parks, restaurants - you name it. In this episode: → how SXSW spots emerging movements before they hit the mainstream → why local scenes and communities matter more than ever → what makes London such a powerful cultural meeting point → and why culture should never be treated as an “extra” SXSW London runs 1–6 June. See you there!

Spring is finally here, and that means that rooftop season is back on! I was recently on Fox 5 (WNYW-TV New York) with on behalf of Time Out to speak about top places to eat, drink and see the sights while dining outside.
