  • We had the privilege of hosting a panel of senior leaders who provided a candid and insightful discussion on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, ‘Give to Gain’. From effective forms of support to authenticity in the workplace to signs of meaningful change, the panellists gave their frank and honest views, grounded in their own career experiences and lessons learned as leaders. Thank you again to our fantastic panel, chaired by Victoria Jackson:  🌟 Ali Dyer – Group Chief Information Security Officer, Associated British Foods plc 🌟 Emily Shepperd – Former Chief Operating Officer, Financial Conduct Authority  🌟 Katy Cardwell – Director E-Commerce and Platforms, British Airways 🌟 Merel van den Boomen – Transformation Director, Great British Railways 🌟 Ruth Ovens – Chief People Officer, Informa TechTarget If you missed the event, click the link in the comments to read highlights from the conversation.

What an incredible experience it was to be part of this panel! Not only was it inspiring to hear about the amazing achievements of my fellow panellists, but the advice, stories, energy, honesty, and laughter shared made it truly unforgettable. The energy and engagement from the audience were palpable, and it carried seamlessly into the networking event, where so many thoughtful and inspiring conversations took place. If I can leave you with three key takeaways and would love to hear yours! 1️⃣ Always represent those who are not in the room – it’s one of the most powerful and kindest acts of support. 2️⃣ When networking, don’t hesitate to ask for introductions to others – it makes the process easier, and people genuinely enjoy helping and connecting. 3️⃣ Please reach out if we haven’t connected yet – I’d love to hear from you and continue the dialogue! To my fellow panellists and presenters, thank you for the camaraderie, support, and the time spent preparing for this session. To the audience, thank you for your energy, engagement, and thought-provoking questions. And to Berkeley, thank you for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event. #InternationalWomensDay #GiveToGain #Networking #Inspiration #Leadership

Last night we were thrilled to be joined by a panel of senior leaders who provided fascinating insights and perspectives on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, ‘Give to Gain’.  We heard how they have benefited from effective forms of support throughout their careers, the different ways they champion others - including the reminder that representing someone when they’re not in the room can be one of the kindest and most powerful acts - and their views on the metrics that signal meaningful change. It was a truly authentic, inspiring and motivational discussion that lasted long into the evening, so thank you to our panellists: 🌟 Ali Dyer – Group Chief Information Security Officer, Associated British Foods plc 🌟 Emily Shepperd – Former Chief Operating Officer, Financial Conduct Authority 🌟 Katy Cardwell – Director E-Commerce and Platforms, British Airways 🌟 Merel van den Boomen – Transformation Director, Great British Railways 🌟 Ruth Ovens – Chief People Officer, Informa TechTarget   And thank you to everyone who joined us and made it a fantastic event!
