Today is Sam's Day 💜 26th March is Epilepsy Awareness Day - and for us, it will always be a day to remember one of our most loved colleagues and friends, Sam Thomas. Sam was part of our group of businesses for nearly four years and was an incredible person and a phenomenal recruiter - someone that clients and candidates alike genuinely loved working with. He left a mark on everyone he met, and left us way too soon. Epilepsy affects 1 in 100 people in the UK. It's a condition that deserves more awareness, more understanding, and more conversation. Sam cared deeply about helping people experiencing homelessness, and today we're keeping his legacy alive by supporting the charity he fundraised for - just £5 provides a hot meal and a toiletry bag for someone who needs it most. Marketing Week's recent article looks at the pressure building at #midlevel, and spoke to recruiters to understand what it means for hiring in 2026. Our own Jodie Clayton shared her perspective from the front line of #marketing and #digital recruitment. While she notes that the market feels more stable than it has in recent years, it’s still not predictable. Yet there are clear pockets of growth in the industry - especially for mid-level roles. The scope for these roles is broader; they carry greater accountability and commercial responsibility. Add to that, since increasingly good content is directly linked to performance, more brands and agencies are looking to expand their content and production capabilities. Creative thinking and strategy are now central to execution responsibilities.
