Around 60% of EHS resources go towards administrative and compliance activities. That can leave less time and expertise focused on the work that directly reduces risk. EHS leaders have an opportunity to rethink how their function operates. Leading organizations are redesigning their EHS models, using alternative delivery models for routine work, and focusing on specialist expertise where it can have the greatest impact. Our latest leadership perspective article explores why traditional EHS models are no longer fit for today's business environment and what a different approach could look like. What if water scarcity isn't your biggest water risk? Most conversations about water risk start with availability. Yet across priority basins, ERM found that water quality was identified as the most prevalent issue, affecting 64% of sites, compared with 26% facing water quantity challenges. Building water resilience requires a wider lens that includes water quality, community needs, governance, and basin-level conditions alongside water availability. This Water Week, we're highlighting the role of water stewardship in helping organizations build resilience and create long-term value. What water risks could your organization be overlooking? Explore the insights in ERM's Sustainability Report 2026: https://lnkd.in/gYu_3Qtq #WaterWeek #WaterStewardship #WaterResilience

8 in 10 surveyed LNG lenders rate environmental and social factors as influential in their financing decisions, including some dealbreakers. That’s one of several findings from ERM’s survey of active LNG lenders representing approximately $9 trillion in assets. So, what else are lenders weighing when assessing LNG projects? Our upcoming report, 'the future of liquefied natural gas finance: narrow window, high environmental & social expectations', reveals how lenders are evaluating: - Project bankability - Permitting and regulatory certainty - Stakeholder engagement - Long term project resilience For developers, investors and EPC contractors, understanding what lenders are prioritizing can help anticipate scrutiny and prepare for the financing process. The full report is coming soon. Sign up for early access and be among the first to access the findings: https://lnkd.in/gEtahs95 #LNG #ProjectFinance #EnergyTransition
