Dragonfly from Dow Jones reposted this
I had a fantastic time last week in Chicago with at International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s Security Leaders week. Another important and timely event from Matthew Vaughan and the IATA team. Thanks to Stone Conroy and Charlotte McDonald for being such wonderful hosts at the beautiful United offices. I joined a panel discussion, expertly moderated by John "Andy" Shropshire, on the evolution of terrorism threats to civil aviation, drawing on insights from Dragonfly from Dow Jones‘s TerrorismTracker dataset. It was also my pleasure to provide geopolitical and methodological briefings to meetings on the sidelines of the event during the week. As ever it was great to spend time with clients and contacts in the aviation sector at a very busy time for the security and intelligence teams at airlines globally.
